I am working as fast as I can to finish up the squares. I hope to get time to put it together in January. I was doing great until we started traveling this summer. I just got more and more behind. But I shall catch up! I shall persevere Thanks so much for posting this AND for hosting the whole year. It has been a good way for me to use up some of my stash. I have enjoyed learning some new patterns as well.
I could not get the first link to open for me. It displayed a message, “This PDF document might not be displayed correctly.” Is anyone else having this problem? The second link opened quickly and correctly.
pretty throw, too much for me though. i like the red/white pinwheel square.

Love it! good job, can’t wait to get mine done
Thanks so much for this wonderful Sampler Quilt. I’m relatively new to quilting and love learning new blocks. I was looking for a fun quilt pattern that I could use to encourage a friend to start quilting. I’m showing her this quilt pattern this weekend. I hope she likes it and we can start together soon. I am hoping to do it every weekend together so instead of block of the month it will be block of the week. Can hardly wait to start!
I finally figured out how to get the layout. I had to download it with Adobe. Thanks so much for doing this. I have all my blocks finished and will be working on what I need to add to it. I look forward to doing this again next year.
I would like to thank you for these blocks all year. Am slightly behind. Have last 3months to do. Will catch up after Christmas. We have a hot Christmas here in Sydney Aust so it is often catching up time in an air conditioned room. Bronwyn
Just finished piecing the anniversary online sampler. For the spacer blocks, I used extra hsts, hourglass blocks, and pinwheels that were extras from other projects AND they were exactly the right size to fit with the rest of the quilt blocks. I’m very happy with the scrappy appearance and will be soon sending it your way for quilting!
Yesterday I finished sewing my blocks together. I chose to make some 6″ finished blocks for the spacer blocks, as I am not a fan of making hsts. I am trying to decide if I want a final border on my quilt. Thanks again for this sampler. I am looking forward to doing this again in 2014.
