Look at all the snirt left behind by the blizzard – yuck! Everything will need a rinse off when spring comes.
This is my favorite bowl of all times and I had it displayed on the wide ledge above the sink several years ago. Yes, the cats knocked it off and I couldn’t bear to throw the pieces away. A visiting relative glued it back together and I came across it today — I still love it!
And here is my November UFO all finished – I painted it with Caromal Colours paint that I bought at the Country Living Fair several years ago.
Stop back later for another post — I’m going to tell you what I’ll be doing for the next 2 weeks. Tasha went home this morning and Libby will leave late this afternoon.
Can’t quite make out the writing on the back of that broken bowl. Send me the specifics and I’ll keep my eyes open for another one as I look at thrift stores and such. You never know…cold weather due here tonight and tomorrow…schools already announcing closures north of Houston.
It’s a Homer Laughlin bowl in the Hudson design. Wouldn’t that be something if you could find one? Thank you, Tanya!
I’m glad we don’t get snow – the sleet we had here in Louisiana the other day was bad enough. Everything shut down for two days here in Kenner (right outside of New Orleans) and the roads were closed due to the ice. My husband was in the hospital following a knee replacement and I couldn’t get to him for a day and a half. What a mess!!
