Almost Pumpkin Day!

It’s almost time – it’s raining this afternoon so we’ll have to finish tomorrow morning.  I made kettle corn for sale, $1 a bag.

And this is just a reminder to those of you making Gypsy Wife – pull some fabrics together over the weekend so you’ll have a jump on Monday’s assignment.  Here is my pile of fabrics.

We open tomorrow morning at 9 am – come early for the best selection of pumpkins and sewing rummage.  We are located 4 miles west of the stoplight in Garner.  Our highway sign is gone.  The street address is 2345 Palm Ave.   You can reach me at 641-512-5188.

It’s times like this I wish I didn’t live in the sunny south. Would love to cruise on by and snag a couple of your pumpkins. However, when winter hits up your way, I am more than content. Enjoy your day – will be with your in spirit!

I agree; I’d love to be there. Central Ohio is too far awY. Have a fun day! Our Quilt Show is in 2 weeks andI’m making 120 yo yo”s to glue on clothespins to hold the quilt labels. They are cute:). I saw them at the Chautauqua Lake, New York show last year.

Mary, You’ve a treasure trove of pumpkins to sell and a great mix of selected fabrics for Gypsy Wife. Makes me wish I had joined in the sew-along. Know you and the Pumpkin Day shoppers will enjoy yourselves.

Glad to hear that you had a nice warm day for your Pumpkin Day!!

I love the size of the small ones, thinking about the goodies I used to bake in them. Clean it out, fill with cut up apples, raisins, walnuts, pumpkin spices and cinnamon….cover and bake. The baked inside goodies I would use on ice cream and the pumpkin I would eat like squash…with all those wonderful flavors.
