Mary, your Gypsy Wife is wonderful. Who knew all those fabrics would look so good together.
Mine is only 1/3 finished. I will do it after the New Year.

Very interesting! Very busy! Very challenging and who would ever know if it was put together right? And who cares! It looks great, especially with all the color, shapes and streamers. Patience is a real virtue and you did it. Great job. It works. Maybe the incomplete instructions are to challenge the sewer as there may not be a really easy way to put it together?
In the meantime, back to something simple? Isn’t “retirement” fun?
Have a nice Thanksgiving. Hope you aren’t having bad weather. It doesn’t sound very good around us with blizzard warnings, etc. If you can believe the weather report, Rapid City should get just 1-2″ of snow with wind and COLD–enough snow to make it slippery. It is about 25 degrees right now, but the wind is blowing and it chills to the bone. Had to turn the heat up as the house is cool. Supposed to be colder tomorrow and Friday, but this is November. We had 60 a couple days ago.

I cannot believe all those discreet and sometimes weirdly wild blocks came together so well! It really is a show piece. I loved your pinwheels when you showed them individually, and I am drawn to them again now, they make your eye travel around the quilt!
What a fun project, now that it is done.

Thank you for sharing your experiences as you worked through the sections on this quilt! This finished quilt will not quietly lie on a bed; it will insist on being examined and touched and explored and loved. Mary, you met the challenge of exceeding your comfort zone and look at the result! Beautiful! A wonderful Thanksgiving treat for all of us. Thank you!

You did an Amazing Job with your Colors & Contrast! Each Block is Visible but none of them jump out & steal the show! When you get it Quilted, it will be so Cozy and just such a relaxing piece of Art Work as you & others view & study it up close! You may even forget all the Frustration that came with putting it all together! You are an inspiration!!! Congratulations on completing this challenging Quilt! Freda
