Another Dreary Day

It’s been raining for 3 days and now we’re under a winter storm watch.  It was a good day to go to Walmart and buy cat food and this sweet poinsettia.

When I got home I couldn’t wait to start working on Gypsy Wife only to discover my book has disappeared!  I think I left it up at Ironwood.  Ugh and grrrrr……!

Rose to the rescue! I’ll mail you my book or do you want me to scan the layout diagrams and email them to you? Let me know because I still have my book–my top is done. Also when I hear about bad weather in Iowa I think of Rick driving on the road. Hope he will be safe.

Rose – I have Connie’s book – she says she’s never going to need it! Ha! It’s all my notes that I am so sad about losing. Oh, how could I have been so careless? I am just sick about it!

I am so willing to give up that book now that I’m done with it. I’ve said that I wouldn’t give this book to my worse enemy but for you that’s different. Maybe your book will still show up. No way am I going to do the Small World pattern, can’t believe I even considered it. Can’t wait to start rug making!

Mary, The tree leaves are really gorgeous russet reds and amber around here; about two weeks early due to the cold weather we’ve been having. Could use a little more rain! Had a real tornado in Denair, CA this week.

Finished a small topper using the Feathered T’s from CT’s Cracker Crumbs book. Was on my To Do list.

Nice to see your new Poinsettia and the white pumpkin together atop the attractive scrappy quilt. Where was Ernie Joe M. lolling around when you took the picture?

Couldn’t resist some of the new Hyde Park line this week.

I am wondering if the little quilt under the poinsettia is from your Cobblestone quilt kit? I just finished that kit and I do not have any idea how it should be quilted. It is a log cabin design. Thanks, Norma

Table topper is sweet! We are having very high winds tonight and are grateful that we put in a whole house generator (could have had a long arm for the cost, almost)…this is the anniversary of Western New York’s Snovember Storm…over 5 to 6 feet of snow in a weekend here! So a little wind…can’t scare us!

Hope you get the book. Don’t you hate that? Love the table topper, pointsetyia and pumpkin. Carol, where are you in Western New York? My sister lives in Bemus Point. We grew up in Cuba, NY. Beautiful day here in Ohio. 68 and very windy. All leaves are down. Cold and rain coming in.

I like your pumpkin holder, must be one of your fun fines…I enjoy displaying my pumpkins in my Casita..Katie in Gilbert, AZ.

Love the piece your pumpkin is in. Where did you find it? Maybe it was a candle holder???? No matter, it is beautiful. It has been going down into the mid or low 30’s here in Tucson, but our temps always increase by about 30 degrees by warmest part of the day. The desert can get surprisingly cold!
