Here’s another half finished project in my sewing room – a small twined rug/runner made from t-shirt strips. I started this last summer in the porch, for Heavens sakes! That’s only 6 months ago! Ha! And it only took a couple hours to finish so now it’s off my list. This is where I picked it up.
And while I watched television tonite, I finished it.
Taking a finished “rug” off the frame is my favorite part of the process!
Nice and bright. Tutorial available?
Book and DVD available – $20 to Country Threads, 2345 Palm Ave. Garner, IA 50438
Very cool! I may have to try one of these this winter!
I love the size of the rug; did you make the frame yourself or purchase it?
Very cute, Mary. Stay warm.
Do you still have any rug videos left? I bought frames from you when you had your shop and have never used them. I also bought the rug book. Thanks.
Janet – DVD is available for $8. Do you need the address?
It’s great to have another project finished and that is so bright and pretty:) I am hoping to make a flannel rug this winter. Your book and video are great, Mary!!
That is very pretty. I might like to make one of those this winter!
When I open my email yours is what I look for first. Thanks for your effort. Love your little rug, I’ll have to see if a friend can make a frame for me.
That runner will brighten up another corner of your world.
Mary, where can I purchase that wonderful size of frame. I have the big one.
Kathy – you would have to build this frame yourself – it’s actually a stair tread size.
