    Hi Mary, closed 4 ads. Good luck at the Apple store. Don’t jump over the counter if they fix the problem in 5 min. My son worked there 10+ years ago, it’s pretty amazing. My son-in-law manages the tech dept. at a college and fixes things too fast for me to follow. My next project for either one is to help me dump a bunch of downloads that have duplicated somehow and help organize my photos. I take notes but half the time still can’t figure out the weird stuff. I’m lucky to have tech support; that’s the term I use when I call for help. These devices are wonderful when they work!!! Keep you in my prayers that you will be able to have an Ah!!! moment when all is fixed. I also miss the quilt posts and wonderful photos. Take Care.

    Hi, Mary. I got the picture of Hazel, but somehow there was no place where to post. If there was a photo in the last test, I didn’t get it. I am sorry you are going through so much trouble. I do miss your news.

    I agree with everyone Mary. You should take the weekend and enjoy your family and farm. This can wait! When you do come back I found a site: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-image-upload-issue-in-wordpress/ that I thought was interesting. I haven’t seen anyone mention contacting WordPress about this. Maybe their facebook community has run into this? Just thinking out loud. I hope these suggestions don’t just make things worse for you! I know it must be upsetting. In the meantime, has Connie pulled the next number in the dirty dozen? I can’t believe it’s August! Jan in MA

      Janice Hebert – I have read this article but don’t understand it. It’s by far the most convincing of all explanations however and I will show it at my appointment with Apple tomorrow. Thank you! If I ever find out my host server has caused all this angst, I think I’ll kill him!

        Ah, I missed that from Connie. Thank you – #3 it is! And I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes if your host server is the culprit! So glad to hear you will be going to Apple. I’m sure they will be able to help but what an inconvenience for you! I’m sure all of us that see them are clicking as many ads as we can. Hope that at least helps a little. Jan in MA

    Take a break from this over the weekend. Maybe your computer is old? has a virus? I don’t know. I’m sure you & your helpers have thought of everything! I feel awful that you’re spending so much time on this. I appreciate that your are as I’d like to see your blog continue but you’re going over & above! PLEASE—-take a break…………………..

      Jan from TN – this is so aggravating I can’t quit now! And my IPad Pro was purchased last November, it’s still under warranty.

    Hi Mary, I closed 20 ads. If I open the blog again and hit comment it gives me about 7 or 8 more ads to close. The more I do that the more ads I get. If I can’t get your pictures the least I can do is open ads.

    A concern I see is that the bar across the top of my screen says “Not Secure -country-Threads-chicken-scratch.com
    It never came through like that before.

    Mary. Stop. Relax. Breathe. Leave this to the professionals. Make an appointment at the Apple store and let them get all the bugs off your iPad. That’s most likely the problem.

    Here’s my two cents. Maybe you should try posting from another device, such as a library or a friend’s computer. If the pictures do post, then the problem is most likely with your ipad. But, full disclosure, I don’t have any apple devices except for an ipod. I hope you’re able to get this issue resolved without too much more aggravation. I admire your persistence.

    Same as most. Got ads, and one picture space with no photo. So very sorry. Seems like you are making headway though. Other than no photo loading, the blog now looks the same as always.

    Mary, I got some ads. I opened them as usual, and then clicked on the back-arrow key. Is that the same as “closing the ad”? I’m asking to be sure this is correct so I don’t get blocked from receiving updates.

    Got several ads which I closed and the only other things were two comments and the picture of Connie and you.
    Take a break Mary as you are going to wear yourself out trying to correct this issue. Sometimes the break opens up new ideas.
