Arlo Update

Arlo’s pelvic surgery is over and he’s resting. The vet expects the plates for his opposite leg, 3 breaks, to arrive by Thursday. One step down, more surgery to come and an extended stay at the vet clinic in Marshalltown. Arlo isn’t out of the woods yet. Both Ginny and I thank you for your concern and your prayers. I’ll keep you posted.

I’m so glad to hear that today’s surgery went well. Sweet Arlo will have a chance to rest a bit before his next surgery. By the time all of this is over he will feel right at home at the clinic.

Mary, Thanks for posting the ARLO news. Thinking of Ginny going through this. Cyrus must miss his pal. Keep the prayers going for ARLO.

I hope Arlo Feels better soon. I’ll keep him in my animal prayers. Seeing the pictures of the goats and chickens so nice and warm, made me glad I got a pet heating pad for my three cats. I found it at Fleet Farm, and it came with a house. My three are too big to fit all together in the house, but they love laying on the heated pad. It only heats when they lay on it. Elkhorn was beautiful this morning with the hoarfrost.

Dine from WI – that’s a fabulous feature if it only heats when they lay on it!

Arlo looks like such a sweet dog—retrievers are such wonderful loving dogs. Prayers for Arlo’s recovery and getting back to what he loves.

Prayers for Arlo and Ginny. Just maybe he will become a miracle dog as our dog Brown did. After the vet fixed her up, she was called Brown the Miracle Dog. I am so impressed with the care given animals. Thanks for keeping us updated and really liked the pictures of your barn animals all so comfy. Appreciate all you post.

Mary, thanks for the update on Arlo. Seeing your “baby” hurting is so hard. Our schnoodle Leah
was hit by a driver (who didn’t even slow down or stop) and her pelvis was broken. Sending well
    wishes to Arlo and Ginny.

Carol B – did your schnoodle survive? Did she have surgery? I’m sorry, I just can’t remember.

Prayers to you Arlo. My brother and sister in law’s pitbull just had surgery for a torn ACL. Try to keep a pitbull still for 8 weeks! Much care giving just like a person!
