Remember those scrap blocks I started last week? Today I’m starting to put them together. The quilt won’t be very big because I’m bored with this project and want to move on – I seem to have a pretty short attention span!

Sorry I am really dumb but I can’t seem to find you on facebook. I know you told how to do it the other day but I ignored it because I thought I already had you but it seems I don’t! Help, please!

Oh Mary, the things we learn about ourselves when we retire! I do the bindings for a store in Carrollton Tx, and I just finished the quilts for christmas. I wish I had more time to do my own sewing but it is what it is. The owner of the store has threatened me if I quit the binding business!!!!! So I never will be as fast as you are finishing projects. Merry Christmas to ya’ll. Hug Carlton for me please.

Mary,
I missed seeing those blocks last week, but think the colors in your scrappy blocks will look quite nice with your new carpeting.

Nice colors. I know what you mean about short attention span. I suffer from the same.

Good colors in your scrap quilt – it will be pretty!
Remember I had inquired about your patriotic
quilt from Jan Patek (the wedding gift)? I did
find out thru Jan the name was “America for Me”
and I found the book it was in (Lady Liberty) – on
either Amazon or E-bay – would you believe for
only 1.99! Thank you so much for your help!
Love getting your new posts! Merry Christmas,
Happy New Year & enjoy “Retirement”!
