This English Golden Retriever, 4 months old, named Buddy, arrived yesterday for an overnight stay.  He is so soft and so cute!

And this is what Faye and Telly think about him and his antics.

They are annoyed to say the least but Rick will get home today and they will be thrilled.

Guess this is a non- quilting post.  Here are a few flower pictures taken in my garden.

What a cutie:) He looks ready to play. “Our” deer would love your garden especially the Star Gazer lilies and other delicious items. Happy 4th!!

Buddy is a doll! And the flowers – I can certainly appreciate beautiful flowers since I have very few. After a couple floods, I have lost most of my flowers. I just appreciate other peoples. Thanks for sharing.

I love all your photos and updates 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to send them!

What a sweet face on the puppy! He is so cute.
Love all your flowers. There are so many different lillies. And I see the euphorbia (sp?) cactus in the pot there. I have one just like it & one that is about 3 times in thickness. They are both inches from the ceiling in the living room. They’ll need to be “trimmed” soon! They are so big, that I put Christmas lights on them instead of hauling in a tree!
Take care . . . Love all the pics even tho’ they’re not all quilts!

Thank you soooo much for taking the time to share your beautiful garden. The lilies are spectacular. Buddy looks like a real love. Wish I could have a dog, especially like him. We are a cat household. She rules and we are her staff. Your photos are real works of are. Thanks again.

Wow!! STUNNING flower photos! And I love Faye’s and Telly’s reaction to Buddy–not so impressed.

Your garden is beautiful. Love the lilies. I brought home a few of your giveaways at your recent sale. All are doing well. I transplanted a few and they are doing well too. I am going to try and send a photo. Don’t know if it will work.

Love seeing all the animal pictures. Faye and Telly look like my dog when there’s a “stranger” in the house. LOL I also love your flower and garden pictures. My green thumb isn’t very green!

    Morning Mary,
What a wonderful profusion of fantastic color abloom in your garden! Great to have you share the pictures with all of us. I agree that Buddy is cute and I bet he enjoyed his stay and didn’t impress Faye and Telly with his puppy antics.
We had a stray thunder monsoon come thru last night and a few drops of R A I N ! Not much to quell the triple digits. Happy 4th of July!

The garden photos are an absolute delight! Especially since we’re in the middle of a heat wave. The forecasted high for today is 108.

You certainly have a green thumb. Hard to grow anything in Florida.

I’ll reiterate what everyone else said. I enjoy the flowers so much. This is the best time of the year for my garden. I have a daylily garden that I try to nurture but the deer and too much shade keep it from becoming as robust as I’d like it. Buddy is adorable. I’m hugging him in my mind. Thanks for sharing. Other dogs cute as well.

Poor Faye and Telly- puppies are terrible and too cute! Your flowers are lovely. I looked up the scrap vortex project and am now working on that too!

Send me a picture now and then of your progress on scrap vortex. I’m taking a break from that project – how is Ohio?
