We started camp today with 4 quilters -I will take their picture tomorrow. We gave them 4 projects this afternoon at 1:00. I wonder how much they’ll have done by tomorrow morning. We ate at the Mexican restaurant tonight which was delicious as usual.
I just happened to see where Moda was spending the afternoon – yes, that’s a bird feeder!
I’m going to work on Charm School tonight. Don’t forget $5.00 quilt day is this Saturday!
Charming!
5.00 quilt day?
It sounds like ‘sew’ much fun, do you have retreats often? Do you have sleeping quarters? There are 8 of us who usually take rode trips and private retreats together. Heading to Des Moines on Sunday, will go to the show on Wed and home on Friday – great rentable retreat house there, right in Valley Junction. Maybe we will see you at the show. Thanks for the great stories.
kitty waiting for lunch????? she sure is pretty. look forward to your news, whatever it is, just enjoy hearing what’s going on over there on your home front. love this weather, hope it stays awhile. our fall picnic (over on the mississippi, pike’s peak) is oct 6th, we’ve been going over every fall for 39 yrs, one year it snowed, we had a fire in the shelter that’s in the park. my folks are gone so it’s just paul and i and denise and my brother and my sister-in-law (from cedar rapids) it’s so pretty over there in the fall.
What is the name of the Mexican
Restaurant you ate at?
Moda must know all the “birding hang-outs”… just waiting for a snack to fly by?
Always look for your news and love all the adventures!!
Gosh it’s been almost a year since I was with 3 other woman at your fall camp. I had so much fun talking with you guys. Country Threads is amazing! Can’t wait to attend another retreat in a few years.
That is one smart cat and beautiful too. I love reading your blog and look forward to it. blessings, Barbara babscorbitt@ gmail dot com
