Hi Mary and Denise and furry friends !
Good to hear news about the patient! Take care. And thanks denise!!
Hurry and get well!
Hi everyone. Have a good day. Just got home from my quilt retreat and resting after unloading the car.
Mary it looks like Hazel doesn’t want to leave your side and your kitty too. I’m sure all your farm friends are missing you but take your time to heal. I’m guessing you’re getting done reading done and perhaps looking at quilt books planning some future quilt projects.
Take care Mary and happy you were able to return home so quickly.
Sending you happy and healing thoughts, Mary! 😊
Mary, I’m so glad your surgery is over. Prayers for a smooth and total recovery.
After very heavy rain last night, while I was in church the sun came out and it went up into the 70’s which made it a very delightful day. The trees on the mountain are beautiful when the sun hits them. Hope the weather in Iowa is behaving itself so all your farm animals don’t need to be worried about. Keeping the prayers going, follow the doctors orders and don’t over do it.
P.S. I got my book yesterday and it’s wonderful.
Thanks for checking up on Mary! I see that some of her wonderful pets are keeping her company. I hope she is doing well with her recuperation. We are looking forward to her return to blogging when she’s up for it.
Hello Mary! Hazel and your kitty keeping you company. Hope physical therapy going well! Heard its rough for few days! Get well.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Mary!

Hi glad to hear you have Denise helping out. Thank you for the update
Good to see how Mary is doing. She looks to have good nursing care! Heal quickly, Mary. I received my book the other day and have been busy trying to decide which quilt I’d like to do first. So many great choices….
Mary,
It seems you are receiving lots of loving attention … as you should. Enjoy the comforts of your lovely home on these damp, chilly days.
Wishing you a speedy recovery,

Mary, glad you are now on the road to recovery. And you have your good nursing staff. They really know when things aren’t right and do their best. You’ll get better fast.
I think it was Linda that wrote the first 2 weeks are hell and the 2nd 2 weeks are purgatory! Never heard it put that way. This, too, will pass. Get better quick. Betty
Praying for healing.
Glad to see that you are home, Mary. Thank you, Denise, for keeping us informed.
Fall made it’s arrival yesterday. Hard freeze in the morning. Plants closer to the house appear fine, the pots on the deck will be taken care of tomorrow, their flowers are done.
Snow is being talked about for later in the week, hoping it is just inland and away from Lake Michigan. If it’s not snow, we will have rain so making a list of what I want to finish this week while sewing and baking.
Have a great week, Mary.
Been thinking and praying for a speedy recovery for you, Mary,
Rest and recover; that’s your main job for now! So nice of Denise to help with the blog.
Only two ads to close for now!
Looks like your comfort dog, Hazel, is doing a great job staying close!
Thanks for helping her, you must be a kind heart!
Glad to see you are home. It’s easier to recoup when you are in your own home. Praying for a speedy recovery and that the surgery took care of all the pain.
Glad you are resting!!! Hazel looks very content and even though she loves her frizbee, she will be disappointed when you get moving again, they love the lap time.
I had 6 ads to close this time, that is a first in a LONG time!!
Do your therapy and stay warm.
Praying for a speedy recovery.
Thanks for your help, Denise!
Glad to see nurse Hazel is looking after you Mary!
Mary, so glad your surgery is behind you! Hope all is going as planned. Follow your dr’s orders and do the therapy! It is all worth it. Hope you have been feeling good enough to read or look at quilt books! After my knee surgeries I love no pain or aching knees! Take care and heal quickly.
Glad you are home and resting under the watchful eyes of your furry nurses. Thanks for the update, Denise!
Looks like you have a little nurse in white taking good care of you. She looks kind of worried, actually. Dogs do worry about us and know when we are hurt or ill. Thank you Denise for letting us know. We all worry too.
Mary, So glade to get a PIC and to see you are home in bed where you have comfort pets! Thanks Denise for sending update & helping Mary! Sending more Prays & Hugs your way!

Glad to see you have a lot of help during your recovery. You know what they say “four paws are better than two hands”. Don’t try to do too much to quick. Janet
Nice to see you have someone helping to keep your knee warm, Mary! Enjoy the cuddles … I don’t think you usually sit still long enough for your furry friends to find your lap …LOL! I hope your recovery is quick and easy.
Take care, Mary. Glad to see you’re resting at home and have the comfort of Hazel and the pretty kitty.
Hey, Mary, welcome home. Not sure if your Pup Pillow in your lap is as comfy for you as it is for her, but there’s a lot of love in those eyes.
You’ll be so happy when the decision to get up for water or the bathroom or bed doesn’t involve a lot of dread and wincing… one day at a time… be careful.
Take care!
Mary!! So happy the surgery is behind you and the healing and recovery have begun. Take extra good care of yourself.
Lots of good thoughts and prayers coming your way!
PS. Thank you!! I got it!! Your beautiful new book has arrived. That makes me so happy!

Mary, all quilts have magic medicine, it looks like Hazel is soaking up some of that medicine too.
Thanks to Denise for the help, we all have been hoping “ no news is good news”. Sounds like recovery is going as planned, low and slow, for now.
Take care and know we are all praying for you and the critters.
Hazel has that look that says “ I got this covered “ so kitty cat can’t have her spot too close to you. I hope Mary you are not in too much pain and know we are praying for a speedy recovery cause we know your level of energy is hard to keep down. Thanks Denise so very much for checking in on our favorite blogger and letting us know about her.
Remembering you, Mary, in prayers for health and healing. I love your bed warmers. So kind of Denise to help out; what a wonderful friend. Take good care!! 🤗
Glad you are home. Hazel and friends will make it all better. I remember after my surgery how relieved I felt and so ready to get things back to normal. Take care. Enjoy your wonderful companions.
Mary, so glad you appear to be minding doctors orders. Still in prayers. Don’t push it, give your body healing time.
Went to another exotic auction , this one just outside of Huntsville, Rick will know where that is. Beautiful white buffalo for sale, will send you picture later. No, I did not buy him, but I sure wanted to. Went for much more than I was willing to pay, & I do not need a bull buffalo!!! Now two axis doe are another story.
Hey, Nikki – tell me what you bought – “two axis doe”?
P.S. Love the one polka dot & one striped slipper.. made me 😊 smile !
You have the two best nurses on your lap! Feel better soon!
I’m glad Denise is helping and checking in on you. I’m hoping for a speedy and painless recovery for you. Your furry friends are looking after you too.
