Hi everyone. Have a good day. Just got home from my quilt retreat and resting after unloading the car.

  2. Donna O

Mary it looks like Hazel doesn’t want to leave your side and your kitty too. I’m sure all your farm friends are missing you but take your time to heal. I’m guessing you’re getting done reading done and perhaps looking at quilt books planning some future quilt projects.
Take care Mary and happy you were able to return home so quickly.

Mary, I’m so glad your surgery is over. Prayers for a smooth and total recovery.

After very heavy rain last night, while I was in church the sun came out and it went up into the 70’s which made it a very delightful day. The trees on the mountain are beautiful when the sun hits them. Hope the weather in Iowa is behaving itself so all your farm animals don’t need to be worried about. Keeping the prayers going, follow the doctors orders and don’t over do it.

Good to see how Mary is doing. She looks to have good nursing care! Heal quickly, Mary. I received my book the other day and have been busy trying to decide which quilt I’d like to do first. So many great choices….

Mary, glad you are now on the road to recovery. And you have your good nursing staff. They really know when things aren’t right and do their best. You’ll get better fast.
I think it was Linda that wrote the first 2 weeks are hell and the 2nd 2 weeks are purgatory! Never heard it put that way. This, too, will pass. Get better quick. Betty

  13. Carla

Glad to see that you are home, Mary. Thank you, Denise, for keeping us informed.
Fall made it’s arrival yesterday. Hard freeze in the morning. Plants closer to the house appear fine, the pots on the deck will be taken care of tomorrow, their flowers are done.
Snow is being talked about for later in the week, hoping it is just inland and away from Lake Michigan. If it’s not snow, we will have rain so making a list of what I want to finish this week while sewing and baking.
    Have a great week, Mary.

Do your therapy and stay warm.
    Praying for a speedy recovery.

Hey, Mary, welcome home. Not sure if your Pup Pillow in your lap is as comfy for you as it is for her, but there’s a lot of love in those eyes.
You’ll be so happy when the decision to get up for water or the bathroom or bed doesn’t involve a lot of dread and wincing… one day at a time… be careful.
    Take care!

Mary, so glad you appear to be minding doctors orders. Still in prayers. Don’t push it, give your body healing time.
Went to another exotic auction , this one just outside of Huntsville, Rick will know where that is. Beautiful white buffalo for sale, will send you picture later. No, I did not buy him, but I sure wanted to. Went for much more than I was willing to pay, & I do not need a bull buffalo!!! Now two axis doe are another story.
