Mommy was desperate to get outside with Chicklet so yesterday I gave in and opened the door. She rushed out and started scratching, calling to Chicklet to come and see what she had found. Chicklet has gotten big! I hope he/she can keep up with Mommy.
Free at last! I’m sure that’s the clucking words I heard as mama hen rushed into the yard. So glad the chicklet is growing and a delight to you.
Mom was probably watching Chicklet grow and in a panic the teenage phase would arrive before she could get all the life lessons in to the little know it all. 😊
Sooo Cute!!!!
It’s a neat story and so glad to see Chicklet growing. Thanks for sharing.
Chicklet is big! I hope he/she continues to do well.
I had a chicken when I was in the 5th grade. It was a class project. It only lived about 3 months, but we weren’t on a farm, and it lived in a box in my bedroom with a light to keep warm. I felt really bad when it died, So needless to say, I’ve always had a fondness for chickens. Love reading these chicken updates.
And to think chick let almost became a sponge cake!
Mary, I always love your news. I think Chicken would be gorgeous starring on her/his own quilt. Lois in Omaha
