Scenes from the choir’s cantata tonight: our big live Christmas tree, the candlelight service, my place at the piano, entertaining Lucy, and the winner of the quilt, Lynelle K., a soprano in the choir. What a great night! The snow is lightly falling, no wind, it’s magical coming out of church to such a sight!

It was a beautiful concert as usual. We always look forward to singing Let There Be Peace On Earth with the whole congregation.

It is a beautiful Christmas season this year. Right now our church is housing two homeless families in a program that will help them find work and housing. It’s a blessing to be able to show them love and hear of success stories from those who have gone before them. We are learning this year during sermons that a blessing is often accompanied by difficulty. That those things which don’t seem like blessings turn out to be that in the “end”. Your stories of the animals certainly show that. Thank you.
