Connie is immersed in rearranging, painting, sorting, organizing and cleaning her sewing room in time for the Big Event. You will not want to miss this tour — her sewing room above the garage is every quilter’s dream and this is your opportunity to look around and get some ideas for your own sewing room. You will enter through her lovely cottage garden and go upstairs –again there are stairs to negotiate and we want you to be aware before you come.
This tour is available on Friday only — you’ll want to come and take your time looking around and Connie will be there to answer questions.
July 19 from 9-5 at 795 Bush Ave., 1/2 block west of State Street at the courthouse corner, across from the Lutheran church parking lot. See you there!

I have a little chair just like the one in front of your bookcase. We had it when we lived 5 miles north of Goldfield, Iowa, and that is a bunch of years ago.

HI There, Does Connie live there too? I do not know your family. Have seen photo of someone’s hubbie, assume yours with doggie. Where does Connie fit in the family? God Love her, that is taking some time to reconstruct into a liveable/workable place. However will be terrific and she will feel so good when it is completed. Been there done that, haha! Patricia G

Connie lives in a refurbished Victorian era house in the city of Garner. We have been business partners for over 30 years and her husband is a dentist in town. My husband, Rick, drives truck and was shown recently holding our little dog, Faye.

Rats! I can’t get out of work Friday! Would you guys “pretty please” post some pictures for us out-of-towners that cannot come look? Actually, I’m out-of-state. Thanks!

P.S. My sewing room could use some ideas and reorganization!
