Did this post?

I’m having lots of problems with WordPress – don’t know if my post actually published this morning. I’ll keep trying.

I posted a long story called Possum Season and it must have disappeared because nobody seems to have gotten it.

I received the “did this post” one, but if you posted earlier today I did not receive that one. I always look forward to your posts,

Received a post timed at 1:11 yesterday ( pictures of kids and their projects) and received the “did this post … I’m having problems” today. But nothing in between so not sure if I’m missing a post with pictures, events that you may have sent this morning.

Did you send something about goat sampler, previous to “did this post”? If so, the goat sampler didn’t make it to my in box but was listed on the side bar.

Just this post today, nothing else. Interested in your possum story as we had one living in our garage last winter and trapped it and took it to a park on edge of town.

Yep – it seems some of us got it; and some of us didn’t (I’m in the latter group). Just received this one questioning if the post actually got anywhere. Hate to miss any of your posts – always enjoyable.

I, too, did not receive one this morning. I did receive yesterday’s and this one. Sometimes when I hit comment, it acts funny, but then if I hit it again, it is all okay. Don’t you love technology? Ha.

    Yes, I received Tuesday’s and Monday’s message.

Texas church shootings breaks my heart, as well.

Love seeing you next to and on the tractor.

    God bless,
    Cheryl

No possum story in my email. Thanks, though, for the effort that went into writing it, even if it didn’t arrive. 🙂

No, I don’t think I have received a post since October 30th. I read your last ones, tho today. Since we have the former Amish boy working for us, and since he eats supper here most nights, we have watched more baseball this year than we ever have! He loves it. I was happy to see the Astros win, too. It seems every time we turn around there is another shooting! Even Des Moines is getting bad. No mass shootings, but single ones every other day! It makes you wonder if it is safe to go out of your house. We don’t mind having guns for hunting, etc. but so many crazies are getting them!

Yes received this one but sorry no possum story. I’ll give you my possum story. I came home one day and there was a possum in my front yard and he appeared to be injured. I called animal control and it took them about an hour to arrive. I sat in my front yard the whole time keeping an eye on him as he was crawling along slowly but I wanted to know where he was by the time they arrived. When the animal control officer arrived it was actually in my neighbors yard. I told the officer it hadn’t moved for awhile so I thought it was dead. The guy looked at me and rolled his eyes. We walked up to it and he grabbed it with one of those noose on a stick. I don’t know who jumped more, me or the possum, it clearly wasn’t dead. The officer said “Ma’am that is why they call it playing possum”. Clearly this city girl had not had any run ins with possums! It was alive and well. It sat there in the truck moving around like crazy. He said they would check it for injury and disease and if it was ok let it go in the county park. Fine with me, as long as it wasn’t dead under my front porch and stinking!

Did not get the first possum post in Colorado. Loved the second one with the worn out Hazel. Those hack russels have bottomless energy so it must have been a busy time for her. We don’t have possum here but enough raccoons to share with the rest of the world!
