Tucker, a large yellow lab, arrived yesterday so now I’m seeing in triplicate! He and Bentley really hit it off and played for many hours after he arrived.
Here’s an action shot taken this afternoon of everyone but Faye.
I’ve been filling book orders, binding and sorting scraps. I finished “the Invention of Wings” which isn’t new but I had never read it. I was disappointed when I started to learn it was another book about slavery in the South but it was an excellent read and I’m so glad I didn’t quit.
Gus and Claire will be leaving tomorrow. Claire has slept with me each night and is evidently very tired because she has not gotten me up to go outside except for the first night. Now I have to convince her to get up at 7:15. Ha!
You take great pictures/photos!
Mary,
Thanks for the heads up on the new read. From the looks of the Dog Overload pictures there is never a dull moment there. Claire probably will need to rest and recover from all the fun when she arrives home tomorrow. Ha is right……how fun.
Hi Mary,
You should read The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom. Being a musician, you’d especially like it.
Jan
Jan – thanks for the book recommendation – I’ll look for it!
I really enjoyed that book and all her books are good.
Great dog pictures, Mary. They are having so much fun, no wonder Claire sleeps through the night. You offer the best dog boarding ever! Thanks for sharing.
Weeeeee….love those dog butt-shots in action!! What fun they all have!!
I too just finished a book…..”The Arrow Catcher” by Jim Mather
