The third block is called “From the Heart” and measures 6″x 6″. This block can be found on page 8 of your booklet. I don’t exactly love hearts but this is a pretty cute little block and didn’t take long to make. Here are my fabric choices:
I am really stepping out of the box, aren’t I? Here’s my block:
Oops! I’ve got the middle row wrong! No wonder it didn’t take long to make. Back to the sewing machine.
Here it is – fixed! Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Hi Mary,
Got my heart block done, in spite of the heatwave: it has been 104 here all week…. we aren’t really used to that in Northern Europe! I should have been sewing in a bikini (as long as no one could see!!!!).
Hope you had a great 4th of July,
Kind regards,
Fiona.

OK, this block put me over the edge…I am ordering the book and will hope to catch up on making the blocks.
Your first block reminded me of a polka dot bikini! Love hearing from you
Interesting block..reserve decision until the end
Funny, at first I only saw the first one…bikini, like Diane… you’ve invited a new block.! Pair it up with those ever popular flip flop blocks and you have a new pattern to sell! “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Pinky Polka Dot Bikini” quilt!
I also saw the “polka dot bikini” and am still humming that silly song. I would guess, that like the originators quilt, once they all are together it will be wonderful. I am sure a whole quilt of it would be a bit overwhelming.
I like your design, too. It’s less heart-shaped yet unique. I love the bright colors.
Mary, Dots are right up my alley! I’ve been collecting them for years and swapping with friends, too.
Love your fabric choices.
I like the first one–it looks like a bikini!! Lol. Love the pink and green.
