On April 19 Ina will celebrate her birthday and I invite you to send her a birthday card to Country Threads, 2345 Palm Ave., Garner, IA 50438. We are going to celebrate this very important birthday on April 15, 16 and 17 with treats in the quilt shop for everybody who drops by to wish Ina Happy Birthday. Ina runs the quilting machine 3 full days a week, standing on a concrete floor with her arms raised to the machine handles. It is hard work as you all know and she’s been working for us for over 20 years! Many of you own quilts that have been quilted by Ina over the years. (Ina will be 85 years old on the 19th but doesn’t like anyone to know how old she is! I think she should be proud!)

Happy Birthday Ina! You quilted my first machine quilted quilt. You did a great job and it remains on my bed used everyday and still in good shape….for lots of years (at least 15)!
