Happy New Year

It’s cold and snowy in North Iowa as you can see by Telly’s chin.  Yes, I am still sick but have been back to the clinic today and came home with some major drugs.  I am going to assume they will work in the allotted 5 days so we will start the Rug Along on Tuesday January 5.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Mary, I am so sad that you are still so sick. Those bad bugs just like to be with you. Look at Telly, that little brain is with you until the end. It’s as though you and dog had made a lifelong vow, just to stick it out. This will be your best year yet, Lois Palmisano, Omha
PS I got the gypsy wife pattern to make in batis!!, Thanks to you. I would not have known about it except for you. L

Feel better soon. I think hugging and giving Telly a New Year’s Eve kiss would greatly help. It’s icy, snowy , and cold here also. Hope you and yours have a Happy New Year!

Am so sorry you are still sick, Mary! This just won’t do! We need you to get well …
I think this holiday season has been rough on so many in so many ways. Doesn’t help to see the ice on the dog’s chin! Makes me just shudder seeing it and remembering how cold cold can be, moreso when one is not well.
Maybe you need a “sitter” instead of “sitting the dogs”?

    Dear Mary
Wishing you well soon and a good and healthy 2016
    From Nevada.

Ron could not beat his cancer and passed on Dec 7. He was 72. It is quiet here.
That was a long time ago we lived in Mason City.
Now we have been in Las Vegas 7 years already where our kids and grandkids are.

    1. Mary Etherington

Oh, Rhoda, please accept my sympathy! It must have been a tough Christmas season for you without Ron – I’m glad your kids are there. I can’t imagine how your life will change – I wish only the best for you in 2016.

Dear Mary, I do hope you are soon well again. I feel like you are a good friend and if you weren’t somewhere over in the States I’d make a big jar of soup for you.
    love,Noel.
