I am so very, very sorry to hear about Susannah. I teared up reading the news and thinking not only of Susannah, but of how you must be feeling. You gave her such an exemplary life and it’s terribly sad and hard to see that end. It leaves a hole in your heart, I know.

I am so sad for you, and for poor little Susannah. Your home will feel so empty … as will your heart. Every stitch of that wonderful quilt, when you are up to it, will be filled with lovely memories of your girlfriend.

  21. Ginny Jackson

You did everything you could for her and she was lucky to have you. On Monday nights at 9:00 pm CST there is a candle ceremony at petloss.com that honors pets all over the world. It is short ceremony and it helped me a lot after beloved pets of mine have gone to the other side. It is amazing that so many people all over the world are going through the same thing.

  22. jean

  26. Ellen Ziegler

Very sorry for your loss…I know how you feel, it is so hard to lose the furry members of our family. I have been waiting for 2 months while my Shih Tzu’s puppies were growing inside. She delivered 3 beautiful babies on Jan 31 and then we had to euthanize the runt at the vets office at age 3 days. She had lung and heart issues that were making her turn blue when she got upset. IT was a very hard thing to do. Time is the only thing that will heal that heartache along with keeping busy! God Bless you!

  27. Janet

I loved Susannah because you shared her life with all of us. I’m sorry she had to go to the rainbow bridge. Peace+
