I drove to Rochester this morning to get Rick from the hospital after knee replacement surgery last Thursday. The dogs all greeted him and fought to be the first to get some pets. Our new ramp has already rewarded us because Rick was able to go right up it and into the house using his walker with no trouble at all. This will be quite a week for me! I’ll bet you can just imagine -ha!
Good luck to you both with the knee rehab. It’s hard work but SO worth it. My husband has had both knees replaced as well as one hip. He said the hip was easier……..
Thanks for all the great posts~!
Wish you all well! Be careful with the dogs underfoot…. Will be sending healing thoughts your way:)
All that doggie love will most certainly help with Rick’s recovery! Get well soon!
Wishing Rick a full recovery. Remember to take care of yourself, Mary. You’ll be no good to Rick or the animals if you work to exhaustion. You are such a good Soul; I truly wish that I was there to help you!
Hope Rick’s recovery goes well. Whatever you do…don’t give him a bell to call you for assistance. I did that with my BF (big mistake) and the first time he headed to the bathroom – I made certain the bell disappeared! LOL
Hope all goes well…make sure to take care of YOU! Sending good thoughts.
Prayers and well wishes for you all.
Prayers and healing thoughts.
You and Rick are so lucky to have found love again. Don’t over do in the caregiving part. Take time for yourself. We all will be thinking of you.
We all wish him a speedy recovery (for your sake also).
I will be thinking and praying for you this week. Been there done that with my hubby 4 years ago but the end result is so worth it!
Nothing better than dog kisses! They love him!
