How’s the rug coming along?

Here’s Millie’s twin, Squeak, who lives in Ohio.  She is very interested in helping her mom, Diane, work on her rug.

I am very familiar with this particular kind of help.

The rug is looking good, Diane.  Keep up the good work with your great helper!

What a sweet face Squeak has. Diane’s rug is beautiful- I love the colors! Slow going on mine- we’ve been down with the flu.

Squeek is certainly intent on doing her PET ASSISTANCE with Diane and her colorful rug. I so enjoy seeing the progress everyone is doing with their rugs.

Mary, would you post detail on cost of purchasing rug CD and also send your email address so I can send you my 16 patch pic and my garage sale cross stitch. Thx.

HI Mary, Thanks for posting Squeak and the rug. She is very cute and gets into everything. I rescued her 4 years ago in the Big Lots parking lot on 8/24–a VERY hot day. She was 4 weeks old and weighed 20 ounces–tiny. All grown up now and feisty. Thanks for your comments:) Squeak checked them out, too!!!

I am new to blogging so I don’t know how to post a question.  I hope this is it.

When I was a young girl (50 years ago) my Grandmother taught me how to Chicken Scratch.  I haven’t done it for probably 35 years.  I picked it up about a year ago and I’m having so much fun relearning what I was taught.  I have a problem.  I can not find patterns for quilt squares anywhere.  I’ve looked and looked.  I’ve found 2 or 3 in random books but that’s all.

Would you be able to give me any suggestions for where I can go to find them?  It would be much appreciated.  I’m excited to follow your blog.

Cindy – do you mean pieced quilt blocks or chicken scratch quilt blocks?
