Info About Connie’s Star Quilt

Several asked where this pattern could be found.

Here is the book.

It is called Double Date.

Reed will be here any minute to do chores with me so this is it. We met our goal and then some – thank you for supporting our blog. Winter storm warning for our area tomorrow – our ladies’ brunch is scheduled for tomorrow morning – hope we all make it to town and home again.

    Nice book. It looks interesting.
We are having a storm right now, too. Very hard rain, thunder, and lightning. Winter is here now, even though there are still some leaves on trees. Dark, too. Must be more to come.
I really enjoyed seeing Connie’s quilts you posted yesterday.

Drive carefully. I too have a quilters lunch tomorrow, our art quilters, but in the Phoenix Arizona area, no snow, just quite cold. You’re so fortunate to have Reed nearby to help with the chores. Of course, payback is wonderful. He’s a lucky boy.
    Stay warm.

Snow is just starting here in Fort Collins as well. Feels cold and damp. Stay warm and safe!!

Glad we Clicked to Count this month!! Love Connie’s quilts.. they look lap or twin size?? Watch those icy patches while doing chores you two. In SE South Dakota we’re in a Winter Storm Warning til Sunday evening. Lots of projects set to do.. a closet makeover and gobs of food in the fridge 😊

I bought that book as the Halloween quilt in it caught my eye to make some day. It is a good book with some nice projects. I will buy a book if I see at least 3 projects I am considering to make. So it came home with me. Weather is so strange. Feels like it should be February and not end of November. Snow earlier this week and now 50’s and rain expected Sunday. Hope you share your luncheon with us and tell us about the fun.

So, I’ve been inspired by you to start quilting again! I was able to visit the cutest little shop near my home today. She’s only open a few days a week but I am so glad I got there. Quilters’ Quarters in Georgetown, MA has very nice fabrics at affordable prices, I highly recommend this shop and I can’t wait to get out the sewing machine!

Here along the Texas Gulf Coast, we go from the 30’s to the 70’s in a matter of hours. It’s a constant roller coaster of weather. Hard on the plants. They lose their leaves during a freeze, then start trying to leaf out again during a warm spell. Will probably go to Brazos Bend State Park tomorrow for an eight to ten mile hike, if the longer trails aren’t still closed due to rain. Guess I’d rather have rain than snow. Rain/snow – still makes for good quilting weather!

Here in N’West Iowa it’s totally iced over at 7:30 am. Good day to stay home and make chicken soup and sew! Hope you get to go out this morning! Stay safe!
