Scout D. Has been boarding here since Friday-she’s a good girl and of course, Telly loves to play with her. The shop was very busy yesterday with customers who come to the farm only once a year. Makes me wish they lived closer -we could have some fun classes.
Rick’s garden is not productive this year – wet and late spring are to blame. No corn, peas, onions, or cukes.
Busy day—4 more boarders arriving later, two just for the afternoon and two arriving tonight for the week. I love being semi- retired!
Mary,
Wished we lived closer so Charlie could play with Telly! You are so awesome to have a place where a pet can go and they will be treated like they are at home! Wished we had you in Tyler!!
What an enormous blessing you provide to the dogs that come to stay/play with you. The owner’s must be so relieved to have such TLC paid to their four legged family members .
We have the same garden situation in NE Wisconsin and now with the cool nights and cooler early mornings the tomatoes aren’t ripening either. Some gardens are producing zucchini.
You have the best of two worlds… dogs and quilting!!!
I agree….what an ideal situation – being able to spend the day with your dog AND a fabric store! Maybe that’s heaven – a place to sew with all the fabric you can imagine and your dog at your feet.
Scout is a celebrity now! Mary – thank you so much for taking such good care of her. She has been asleep since we got home! And yes we’re relieved she has such a fun environment to enjoy her weekend in!
As the owner of Bentley Greiman, I whole heartedly agree that Mary is a true blessing. She takes awesome care of your dog. I never worry about Bentley when he’s there as I’m pretty sure he feels like he is the one on vacation when he gets to spend time at Mary’s. My only fear of making such a great recommendation is that I fear it’s like sharing your babysitter’s name. Eventually everyone finds out and you have to get on the wait list :-).
P.S. If you have a high energy dog–Telly is an amazing play mate.
Agreed – it is almost like a doggy spa! Scout loved it!
