Connie’s house is dressed up for Christmas, too, and I know you’ll enjoy seeing it. Again…..lots of pictures, not many words.
A holiday greeting at the back door.
A kitchen display – a piece of original artwork purchased years ago and a forest of battery operated trees.
The tree is so tall the star doesn’t fit on top!
Living room and mantel
The nativity and more.
Back to the kitchen window – a collection of soft bodied Santas hanging in a window basket and an angel doll I made decades ago. I wish we still made soft dolls, don’t you?
And my favorite – a large wooden bowl filled with gorgeous glass balls – hard to get a nice picture!
And upstairs in the kids’ bedroom a tiny plastic tree, a Santa and a garland of flags across the room. My grandma had a plastic tree like this which always held gumdrops.
Did you love the Christmas house tour? I did!
What a treat!
Mary I’ve enjoyed both you and Connie’s homes on the Christmas tours! It’s so fun to see your use of quilts and country accents, thank you.
Happy Holidays!
Thank you so much for sharing Christmas at Connie’s house. She too has such interesting quilts. I love Christmas house tours. We have one here in Fairfield PA this Saturday some of which are Civil War era homes. So interesting.
VERY PRETTY!! Merry Christmas, Mary & Connie!! 🎄🎄
Thank you for the tours of your homes. They are both so welcoming.
Merry Christmas to you and Connie!
Connie’s house is lovely, and your house is gorgeous, who would expect anything else!! Yes I wish we still made dolls – I made so many and loved them all. Present day handmade things have sort of taken a weird turn, don’t you think?? I miss the old days, guess I’m just getting old myself LOL! Merry Christmas to you and Connie!
Connie’s house is decorated so nicely. You gave me a memory jolt when you showed the plastic tree & mentioned the one your grandmother had with gumdrops. My grandmother had the same thing, which I had totally forgotten about. And i’m sure many extra gumdrops to replenish the tree after I visited! Thanks for the pleasant walk down memory lane.
Just beautiful!
So love seeing both of your homes n always don’t say so
But keep them coming makes my day!!!
Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻
Thank you Connie and Mary. I did enjoy the tour from front to back and upstairs and down.
Thank you for the lovely tours! I finally got my tree up. For the last few years we’ve had the grands that were old enough come and help decorate, but this year they’ve been taking turns being under the weather so finally I just had to do it without them. ‘ My grandma had a plastic tree like this which always held gumdrops.’ Me too! I am trying to remember if I still have that tree somewhere – it would be fun to have it out for the grands now, of course with gumdrops on it!
So enjoyable… I am ready for Christmas now!!
So fun to have tours of homes this time of year. I love seeing the insides of peoples houses! Guess that’s why I am in real estate! Ha!! I’m starting to get in the spirit but it’s been hard this year. The snow we had last week did help a little. I’ve gotten greens for my fireplace and we got a little tree and it’s decorated. I add more things to it every day it seems! Just added a pretty gold mesh ribbon as garland and I kind of like it! One thing you have definitely done is inspire me to quilt again. I can’t wait to go fabric shopping after the holidays and get lots of different cotton fabric. I don’t have much left after making the rag rug from your wonderful book! I love my rug though. Worth using all of the cottons that I had, lol. Merry Christmas from Massachusetts!
Yes, I did! I loved it! Thank you so much for sharing. So festive and warm!
Your pictures the last couple of weeks or so have been so helpful to me. My Christmas spirit has been almost not existent — my husband has had some pretty serious health problems. As usual, your emails and pictures make life seem so much more livable. Wishes for a wonderful Christmas and great New Year for all, love you, vickie

I do enjoy seeing how people decorate their homes. I could never be one of those that doesn’t change things around for holidays. I love refreshing and setting out my treasures for the seasons and holidays.
You sure brought back a memory I had forgotten about with the gumdrop tree my grandma had out.
And you are so right….love seeing cloth dolls. It made me want to create one after seeing all of Connie’s.
Beautiful!!
So fun to see both of your homes decorated and it does give me the Christmas spirit for sure.

Thank you for two great tours. They both look so pretty.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing! We used to have a little plastic tree like that and we did gumdrops as well. Love the Santa painting in kids room–did one of you two paint it? Adorable.
Thank you for the tour, very pretty.
Thank you both and your families also
Thank you for sharing Connie’s warm Christmas House..🎄🎄
Loved it. Thank you and thanks to Connie
Thanks to both of you for sharing . I love seeing all the quilts.
Yes, I loved the home tour!!! You ladies have such a knack for decorating no wonder your quilt shop was such a big success!
I love houses both in and out. Thank you so much for the holiday tour.
Yes, thanks to both of you for the tour of homes. Fun and really lovely. Where is Country Living Magazine when you need them? I also have the plastic tree and load it with red and green gumdrops each year. I always put some extra gumdrops in the plastic tray under the tree–kind of like gifts. I have the very same nativity set and marvel that it is still available today. Almost all of my pieces are “darker/antique” looking. Probably, 40 years old. Some of the newer pieces are brightly painted. I quit buying the pieces when they were so “bright.” I look for the pieces at Flea Markets, etc.; but so far no luck there. It is a nice set because there are so many pieces. Thanks again.
🎅🏻🎄Oh thank you so very much! I love seeing all the wonderful arrangements, quilts and holiday decorations! We are going to my daughter’s home in CA and I didn’t decorate this year….health things also got in the way….your pictures made me so happy. Thank you Mary and Connie for sharing‼️ 🎄🎅🏻
Mary and Connie, I thank both of you for sharing your homes with all of us. They look so cozy and festive. I will look at these pictures often during the holiday season just to keep my Christmas spirit going. I hope both of you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Connie’s Christmas decor is lovely. Really enjoyed it. Thanks so much for sharing. You sisters are so individual and yet so alike. Love that!
Hey Sue – we aren’t sisters – we’re business partners and have been for almost 40 years
Thanks for the tour! Simply wonderful!!!
Loved the tour! I made the same soft ‘angel’ doll back in the day also! I finally got a doll stand so, she can be upright. Merry Christmas to you and yours & Connie and hers!
Thank you so much for sharing your photos of your homes. It is very inspiring! Merry Christmas!
I love seeing how everyone decorates for Christmas. Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing! So comfy. Merry Christmas!!
That was very gracious of Connie to invite your followers into her home. Really wonderful! I spied the kitty on the sofa’s armrest. I love the wooden bowl with the glass balls. A friend of mine has a basket with big ornaments and in the middle a lighted sphere, it is very pretty and I told her I will copy her idea. The Nativity is by an italian brand that I can’t remember, I have two little cherubs. Another favorite the simple basket with greens and cones. Thank you and a Merry Christmas.
