It’s Christmas Eve Day and I’m busy like you are cleaning, baking, wrapping presents and preparing food. Eric and Nikki are coming tomorrow for the weekend and we are looking foward to having oysters for supper tonight at Tom and Becky’s house. Always remember that Jesus IS the only reason for this season. Merry Christmas to you all!

Merry Christmas to you. Love your decorations especially the quilt with Christmas tree on it. I may have to come up with my own version or find a pattern for it.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, furry and no fur. Love all of the pictures, thanks for sharing. Do you see what I see–the red barn calling out to have a quilt camp for the less fortunates who never attended one–like me. Cheers!

Merry Christmas Mary – thank you for sharing your photos of decorations. Love them all but I’m particularly fond of that little red ‘door’ with the curved top you have setting on a table top or chest…. it’s adorable and I’d love to know the story of from whence it came. And I think Rose Mikulski had a wonderful suggestion – when you get to missing having quilters around — a quilt camp in the barn for those of us who never made it to one. We could come a day early and help set up??? 🙂 Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year as well!

Your house looks beautiful, Mary! See you tonight!
One of my students, a little boy, told Santa that he thinks his holiday is the best one in the whole year! Ha! I’ll let his parents tell him otherwise when they read it in the paper!

Your house looks so festive–just like a photo shoot from Country Home. It’s beautiful, cozy and welcoming. It makes me want to relax in the big red chair and read a book with a cup of cocoa by my side. Merry Christmas to you and yours (with a nice pat to all the pets) and here’s to an exceptional new year!

    Mary,
Thanks for all the wonderful “eye candy pictures”. So wonderful to view all the decorations and quilts. Good to see Emma’s red solo cup ball is hanging inside. No snow here………just good sunshine.

The first year of school programs our son’s kindergarten teacher winked and whispered to me. “You’re the only parents who leave bourbon and water with cookies for SANTA!”

Peace on Earth and Merry Christmas,

    Launa

Merry Christmas Mary! Thank you for sharing all that you do still, the farm, the animals, and you. It is so nice to still get notices from your blog. Tell Connie Merry Christmas. Mary Baker, too. We miss all of you dearly and know that each of you are enjoying retirement.

What a lovely setting. Wish I lived there. Love all your Christmas wall hangings.
Oh, I found a clue. Your name is Mary. Were you in business with Connie?
Love all the red and white quilts as well. And the baby Grand. Is that the kitty that was living in the former business’ barn?

Hello, what a great year you and your family and extended family have had!
Some advice from an older woman! If you will consider, get your old man retired now!,

Our most precious commodity is time, I think we are all on a tome budget.
Love to all and Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus,

Mary, Everything at your house looks gorgeous. So glad you are enjoying retirement. Merry Christmas to you & yours. My daughter arrived a short time ago after a 9 1/2 hour drive (IL to TN) by herself!! Praise God she got her safely. Now Christmas can begin!! Have a blessed one!

Blessings to you and your family. You bring me much joy with all you share through out the year. I thank you. I see you have a pencil tree. A church friend gave me a 2 ft cutting about a year and a half ago. It is now well above the roof line of our house and so thick we have had to trim it several times. Living in Florida we have the advantage of not having to bring it in for the winter. Yours is lovely and they are such interesting unusual plants. Enjoy your retirement. I personally have found that I don’t know how I ever had time to work.
