I got the one with lots of Vote pictures, too windy, too shady, and the kids that came over to play with your cats.

  2. Chris B in NWPA

Your post came through in NW PA. I enjoyed all of the pictures and an
    exhausted Hazel.

  3. Donna Sproston

No, I did not receive it but I know much of Iowa between your house and mine in Illinois had all sorts of power outages due to all the downed trees and major cell isdues.

    1. Kathy in western NY

Yup Sandra – me too. I got it. I am from western NY as well, near Rochester.

  4. Donna Ondler

I got about 8-10 pics of your flag/voting wall hanging, Hazel and the children with the black who was trying to escape. I got your post within the last hour.

    1. Launa

Yes, Mary…thanks for sending it west to Idaho. Good to see all the places it was hanging. Enjoyed seeing Hazel and the visiting kids.

  5. Theresa

Hi Mary, the last one I received was Beck’s Birthday and the beautiful snowball quilt. I am in Illinois.

  6. Lois Ann Johnson

I received your post this evening, right ahead of this one. It had different shots of the Vote quilt plus the story about the children coming to visit. We all love your animal photos and stories, Mary. Hazel looked like she was having a good day. My Bailey had a good day, too. She caught a mouse somewhere in the house and then proceeded to jump up on my bed with it. I walked through the bedroom after lunch and about fainted. She was sleeping away with the dead creature lying beside her ON MY BEDSPREAD!!!! I am going to have nightmares tonight about mice in my bed!

I received the birthday post with the snowball quilt and then tonight the Vote quilt, etc., in CT. I had no power from Tuesday evening until Sunday morning, and no water when you have a well and no generator.

  10. Alice

I received your post on the vote quilt & the children just before this one. I’m in southern Ohio.

  11. Charlotte Shira

I got the post about the vote quilt but didn’t get it until 4:00 pm Pacific time. Right before I got this post.

  12. Diane Bauer

I got it, but it was time-stamped only 20 minutes before this post, so it sounds like there was just a really lengthy delay.

Exhausted pups are great!! I’m sure Hazel had a blast!

Not sure if you saw my comment on your Instagram post, but my grandbaby was born on the 6th, a beautiful, healthy baby girl named Laurel Olivia. I am over the moon!!!

I received this post and one shortly before this about your young visitors. Nothing this morning.

I didn’t get one this morning but got two this evening. One at 6:59 and one at 7:19. We are of course an hour ahead of you. Talked to my cousin in Story City and she told me of the awful storm and the damage they had at their farm. Corn was standing but stripped of it’s leaves and many trees down.

Do you suppose that the power outage in southern Iowa could have delayed your Tuesday August 11 post? As I read JosCountyJunction blog I thought that, with power lines down through out the region, there could have easily been an unforeseen delay.
But your post did come through in the evening just fine!
