From Michele
I’m caught up with decorating pictures from readers so somebody else needs to send some. It’s fun to see how others decorate. Connie and I will both take pictures next week. This is what Connie has been working on – a gift for her secret sister. I’ll bet everybody in her sorority hopes to be her secret sister, don’t you think? She makes a quilt every Christmas! This is a classic red and white quilt that would look really elegant on a table.
IIt’s all just wonderful!
Lovely quilts and houses so pretty. Thank you for sharing.
So pretty
Makes me ashamed of myself…have done no decorating….but does baking count, have done a bunch of baking.
Nikki- uh, I have done no baking at all!
Well, I’d sure love for Connie to be MY secret sister! I haven’t decorated yet, but I have been cleaning, sorting, wrapping etc. So, by Sunday I will be ready to put up the tree!
The pictures of the Christmas decorations, collections, pictures and trees are just wonderful. It amazes me how people display all of these beautiful things in their homes and really brings out the fun and beauty of the season. There is so much love. What fun to share.
I’d love to see the pattern for Connie’s red and white quilt. I’ve never seen a quilt with a dog tail in it!
My full name is Phyllis Combs for my decorations!!! Thanks for posting, love seeing everyone’s pretty decor!!!!
I love seeing all the quilts among the decorations. Connie has a very lucky secret sis!
We don’t decorate for Christmas – the cats take it all down!
That tail behind Connie’s beautiful quilt looks familiar…does she have a Siberian Husky?
It’s all fabulous, I’m not with it this year but I’ll keep working at it but it will never look that great. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thrilling to see and so much love in each decoration. What a blessing to share. Thank you.
Mary…Am slowly working on decorating with Christmas quilts and table toppers to start and a few small trees. Opening the steamer trunk of ornaments will be like seeing old friends.
Connie’s quilt is fabulous and I loved seeing the “tail wagging” in the picture, too.
Did the Orioles return to nest this year?
Thanks to All of you for GREAT PIC’s! You all know how to put it all together for a beautifully Christmas! Saving all the Holiday PIC’s!
The photo of the quilt at the end of your decoration tour was outstanding. It would be a great addition to any home to display or just snuggle under. Lovely home and great decor.
Beautiful quilt. What is the name of the quilt/block?
I don’t know what Connie calls her quilt, but the block is known as Crown of Thorns or Wedding Ring.
Thanks!
Love the little quilt above the mantle. Could you share the pattern name?
Everyone’s decorating is just beautiful.
