More Machine Quilting

Yup, it’s me machine quilting another project. This is an easy one.
Today is Senior Citizen Day – in shop 20% off for all seniors, 55 and older. (See you later, Kathy?)
Don’t forget the 100 bolt sale online – $7/yd., a great buy!
Later today I’ll show you my new Harvey, a 1997 pattern for a tall Easter bunny- available in plenty of time to get him sewed up for the holiday.

Wish I could come for the Senior sale but coming from Washington won’t work for me today. I’ll be there in spirit. LOL

I can’t wait to see the new Harvey, I made the original and lost the pattern! Looking forward to it!

I just machine quilted a quilt myself this week the same way, just straight line quilting on a scrap quilt with rectangle blocks. Sometimes simple quilting is the best, it showcases the fabric and it gives the quilt snuggability. I just don’t like to baste but I’m getting more patient with it. Hope you’re feeling and healing fine.

Are you sewing/quilting straight lines along the edges of each piece? Looks like that is what Rose did (comment above). Did you baste your top/batting/bottom together before quilting? I need to try this.

Looking forward to the HARVEY tall pattern as I just took the TALL WINTER SNOWMAN off the inside front door hanger. What model Bernina are you using to quilt today?
Tulare is full with 110,000 attendees for the International AG EXPO. Last day is tomorrow. Sunny and still in a drought!

Yes, we still love our Juki but it’s upstairs and many times I just want to sew in my sewing room.

i don’t think people 55 yrs old should be considered to be senior citizens (should be 60) the specials are good if your a senior but………………………… just don’t see 55 as a senior, just my take on it. snow on the way???? nice week then more cold??? just hope not real cold, like before. the cinnamon bread sounds good, maybe try it for easter breakfast (we’re going to cedar rapids, denise too) easter is april 20th, this year, last year it was march 31st, real early. enjoy the nice weather while it’s here. like all the quilts you’ve been working on.
