This post is wonderful! I especially love the Mayo Art and that amazing sewing room. Thanks Mary.

So glad you are home now Mary. You will rest better and of course eat way better now you are home. Thanks for posting all the pictures. The sewing room is so big and so very well organized. Tuesday is my knee replacement surgery so have decorated for Christmas and done all my baking. I didn’t want that hanging over my head while trying to recuperate.

Hi Mary, the sewing room is amazing, l don’t think my little area ever looked so neat! Safe travel home and straight to your favorite chair, feet up! Love the cat photos,l would love a cat, but Bella says no! Very windy and cold yesterday, today looks like a big improvement. Take care everyone, best wishes from Sandy

Oh so many pretties. That hooked rug is fantastic and the leaded glass birds -I’d love to have one.
So many beautiful quilts from everyone.
Enjoyed all the cats, dogs, goats- all the furry animals.
The pictures of beautiful flowers and wooded paths were gorgeous as well. Someone sent the most beautiful sunset picture worthy of printing and framing.
I am envious of that most neat and organized sewing room. What a pleasure to spend time seeing in that space.
Mary I certainly hope you are well on your way home. However I remember the all day event it took to get my husband out of John’s Hopkins after hip replacement surgery. His time was also extended due to blood pressure issues and electrolyte imbalances. Anyway when they finally gave the go to release we waited and waited and waited. It was around 6 or 7pm before they wheeled him down to the car. Oh boy.
Happy Thanksgiving. Hope you get lots of rest.

I am hoping Mary that by the time you read this later you are sitting comfy in your familiar surroundings at home and giving thanks for making it through this ordeal. You know I love all the pictures your readers share to admire and I am so grateful you take the time to allow us into their lives and homes with putting the pictures on your blog. It’s one day at a time now so don’t be hard on yourself. We aren’t young and heal quick anymore. I sprained my ankle in mid September walking into a pot hole in the road and I thought “oh heck, I’ll be limping for a day or two “. Try a month or more! Finally 2 months now I have mobility to move it well. We just take a little longer to feel ourselves so use this time to read your stack of new books and do not feel guilty for sitting. You need it.

Happy Thanksgiving at home today! How sweet it is to be home and tonight you can sleep in your own bed.
Wow, the art at the hospital is beautiful. It’s so nice that you can stroll through the halls and see it.
Also on another blog there were red and green quilts that looked like they were in a museum. Just gorgeous! And beautiful veterans quilts. Sending love.

Mary – Such happy news that you are heading home today. I agree with previous comments on taking care of yourself. I’m sure you have gotten the message!
I would like to know where that beautiful sunset picture was taken, if the person that sent it reads this again.
Also, there have been more than normal ads to click on, so I’ve been clicking away every time I read and refresh the blog to see if there are any more comments. I love reading all the comments.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We are all so happy you will be home! Take care……

I sure enjoyed looking over all the pictures from your most recent posts this morning as I sipped my coffee. But, not as much as I enjoyed reading the news that you will be HOME today. REST, rest, rest when you get there. Lots to be thankful for knowing that you are on the mend at last. For myself, I will be grateful to spend the day with nearly ALL my family – we will be missing our only daughter-in-law and only granddaughter. It’s so hard to get everyone in the same place at the same time, but I am super thankful for the efforts of my kids to get everyone together. AND for their help with preparations for the feast. Blessings abound. Happy Thanksgiving, Mary! ~Suzanne in Michigan

Great photos of the artwork, especially the hooked rug. My Gram and my Mom were both homers and I have a small rug from each. I also have Gram’s last rug still on the frame. Someday I hope to finish it. Hope you get to go home today or at least for the weekend. Suzanne in MA.

Mary – you are in all our prayers for a complete recovery. Hope you will feel better once you are home.
The familiar will be so much better than what you have experienced in the hospital. Thanks for
    the beautiful pictures!
I remember how awful it was to be in the hospital over a July 4th weekend – short staffed and couldn’t
get a nurse to come in the room. Not fun. I thought it was just because it was a holiday – guess not.
Continued thoughts and prayers go with you!

Wow, Mary! Thanks for the kitties and one dog, gorgeous outdoor shots, beautiful quilts, and stunning art show. Glad it kept you busy. Home soon!!😺😺. Would the person with the oh so neat house and fabric collection like to come to Ohio to organize my house!?!? That is my 2025 goal. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone 🦃🏈🦃🏈

I will be right over…I cannot stand clutter, so I try to clean up after each project…believe me..it doesn’t always that good. We just had new flooring installed in our house, so I reorganized a little when I put my room back together. It is a delightful and comfy room.

Happy Thanksgiving Mary. So happy that you’re getting to go home! You will feel so much better seeing your animals and the comforts of your home. Just don’t over do it!
