My Mailman Was Flabbergasted, 9-25-2020

THANK YOU FROM MOMMA, THE PUPPIES AND ME! My mailman asked me if I hadn’t overdone “it” a little – he thought I had gone shopping. When I told him it was all dog food donated for my foster family, he was shocked and thought it was pretty special. He didn’t even know where to put all these boxes so when I drove out in the golf cart, he loaded me up!

I had to take a picture because my friends simply wouldn’t have believed it. Now my garage is storing many cases of canned food and many bags of dry food, enough to get these puppies to their adoption date and start on another litter. Thank you for your generosity!

And those who sent Amazon funds – I had Sarah come and help me tonight because I am missing all of my emails from Wednesday. I know that sounds impossible but last night I decided I would clean up my desktop email – there were 3890 emails in the inbox. I deleted hundreds and even if I HAD deleted those sent on a Wednesday, they would be in the trash. Nope, not there.

I believe I had to “accept” or “apply” the amount of the gift card to my Amazon account but it’s just not there. On Monday I will call Amazon and my provider – I’m sure one can help me.

Here it is 10:50 pm and I’m just getting this post written. Here’s a couple of puppy pictures and then I’ll go to bed and save the rest for tomorrow!

Yes, the black puppy is sitting on both heads of the puppies underneath!

Good Night, Everybody!

Yeppy!! I’m glad you have room for it. I’m sure more is on the way.
The puppies are so darn cute. I hope Nala gets fattened up soon and will find Hazel great fun to be with.

Odd, I am cleaning out my email tonight too. There are tons.

Mary there are wonderful and generous people out there! It is so heartwarming to see this amongst all the hatred and violence that is spewed forth on the news each and every day. God bless you Mary. Your blog is SO important on a grand scale.

You have the best devoted blog readers. The quilt shows you have provided us and now these puppy pictures as well as the kindness shown with food given is an example of showing unselfish thoughtful Folks. We need it more than ever. Do you have a part of your church service for joys and concerns? If you do, please announce you are a New grandmother To 8 puppies. I would for you if I were there! It is a joy and like grandmas you have to hand them back. Good way to enlighten others who don’t understand why there are rescues happening to save these little creatures. You might get more newspaper donations then too.

My heart is full at the sight of your golf cart. Our local/national news services should cover these stories.

OMG!! Those puppies have really grown and thanks to you they have a wonderful and healthy start in life. It is good to hear that there are very kind and generous people out there to help you out with dog food. But I think the kudos go to you to undertake this job of fostering this furry family. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have a very big kind heart.

Seeing that loaded cart and sweet puppies makes my heart happy. Thanks, Mary. You should be getting at least one more box today – and I’m betting there will be even more than there were yesterday.

Oh my goodness. I get one bag 34# —a month, from chewy, for my 2 girls. You will be able to feed a lot of dogs, for a long time. It is very good you have a rescue shelter to donate to. Sending food with each puppy would be very helpful also. Glad to see those puppies are looking good.Mama will be looking better each day no doubt with the wonderful care you give. Blessings j

Hurrah for all that food🐶🐶. Those babies are getting chubby—good. Which one is Connie going to adopt so hers has a friend? ( Sorry, I forgot its name.). I am hoping Nala is feeling more comfortable and gaining weight, too. Bless you for being so caring, Mary.

Diane and Squeak – I’ll tell Connie you we’re asking about a pal for Betty! I think Betty really should have a live-in friend!
