Cookies are my favorite home baked treat and even though I have not made these lemon cookies, I know Connie would love them because she loves anything lemon! Try them and let me know!
Easy Lemon Cookies
1 lemon cake mix
2 eggs
1 t. lemon flavoring
1/3 c. oil
1/2 c. powdered sugar
Combine cake mix, eggs, flavoring and oil.
Form balls of dough and roll in powdered sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees.
Bake for how long? Sounds yummy!!
How long do we bake the cookies?
That will depend on your oven. I never time cookies but take them out when lightly browned.
i love anything lemon too. gee, that’s kind of weird, i just found a lemon cookie recipe the other day, almost like yours, mine has 1/2 cup oil, someone said they used lemon juice instead of flavoring or extract, suspose you could use some of each. mine said to bake 350* for 6/8 min, they were real small cookies, i’d do bigger ones and bake for 9/11 min. but like you said, just watch them. i don’t bake near as much as i used to but cookies are #1, then brownies next. paul got back from his fishing trip up to lake of the woods, didn’t catch alot of fish, enough to eat some up there and some to bring home, they had fun anyway. more snow coming??? yikes, we got 9-10 inches the other day but we need the moisture.
oh, i see my recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, unless i wrote it down wrong (that just might be too lemony, huh????
I baked the recipe as written, today and they are disappearing as they cool. Mmmm……good and refreshing. Visit my blog to see the pictures at http://www.quiltcrazie.blogspot.com.
