i work on this throughout my day thinking that maybe the next time I try to post, everything will be back to normal.  Thank you for all the suggestions – I think the best one I’ve had is to find a hacker and have him get into the settings.

Heres another #8.

It’s been very humid today making it difficult to get the lawn mowed – maybe tomorrow?  Connie and I have sent out lots of Frank – here he is again with Betty.

The pattern for Frank is $5.00 to Country Threads, 2345 Palm Ave. Garner, IA 50438.  Please enclose a SASE.

Ill try again tomorrow – wish me luck!

Mary….love this #8…. I got the other post as well. Sure isn’t hot here! 61 degrees nearing 9 pm!
Thanks for sharing the two pictures!

Hi Mary, On your computers woes, this may be too basic-does your computer automatically download and install new upgrades? If so let me know. I wish you lived closer, I have nephews who are techs. When I have needed them in the last few years they were not around, but one is now. Computers are so crazy. or I should say they drive you crazy. I wish you the best, so your brain can rest! We all love having you in our day. ~Cin!

Cindy-Hayward – yes, everything is set for automatic updates but I still check every day.

      1. Cindy-Hayward

Mary, Many times those updates are the problem, they can cause the kind of problems you are having. It can be why the apple store could not find a problem. Let me know if you would like to know more. ~Cin~

If I order Frank will you send the dog too ?? Love them both 💕Fall will soon be here in Alaska . The fireweed is going to seed , and last night it was 44!
Can’t wait for the Aurora to show her beauty 🙂

This came through perfectly—text is fine, photos are all upright, 8 ads to close before posting my comment. Can’t wait to get my Frank pattern and get started on him! I’m still enjoying Uncle Sam!

No smoke in the hills today. A little more rain this evening. I hate that it’s getting dark earlier already. Tonight is the peak of the meteor shower, but I don’t think we will see anything as we have a full(ish) moon and really too many clouds.

Oath posts came through in fine shape. Please take care and don’t over work on this. Everything looked great. I love the picture of Betty holding Frank down.

Can’t wait for Frank to be in my life. He is so cute. LOL
Having trouble finding time to work on #3. Canning, harvesting, preserving, watering, repeat are getting in the way.
    Sleep well, Mary…

Getting the post and pictures. Can’t wait to get the Frank pattern. Want to make one each for my grandsons. Have a good day and hope you can mow. We finally got a good rain.

Good luck! 🍀 I have recently had printer problems; suddenly getting those problems solved consumed my every waking moment, the frustration over continued pages of illegible gobbledygook being spit out of the printer overwhelmed me. In the end, I am going today to get a new printer; it beats throwing my printer through a window! Problem solved. This, however, is a truly simple problem compared to what you’ve been dealing with, I can’t even imagine your stress level. Please know how grateful I am, and all of your regular readers, that you have persevered. Bless you.

Mrs. Goodneedle – I think about this every day all day – I have even dreamed about it! Honestly some days I wonder why I don’t just throw in the towel …. but I love the photography and the blog readers are my friends – friends that I can chat with and not leave home! I won’t leave my animals and only leave the farm for church and groceries. I am not a traveler – never have been and don’t want to travel in my retirement so you readers are my touch with the world and what others are doing. I am appalled that a hacker would get a thrill out of ruining my life.

This is so crazy. First time I opened this blog it was perfect. This time the pictures appear in a lateral orientation! Good grief.

  14. Pat Smith

I’m getting everything fine, pictures right side up, lots of adds to close finally. I’m so glad you persevered! Frank is great, especially with Betty laying on him!

Been busy & didn’t check mail…received both… Love Betty & Frank. Heat & I donot mesh! This will be day 9 over 100….not abnormal for Texas this time of year but such a mild June & July is even harder to adapt! Enough of my complaining. Work on the dreaded #3 is almost complete..just 1 more block & then an assemble….yes! Not my palate..& not enjoying working on it the end is insight & I will have scaled the Sunbonnet Sue Alps…@ least that is how I feel.Have a great day, be safe, stay cool.

Nikki M – your free book is on its way – don’t forget to check your mail. Just think how proud you’ll be to finish #3! And send me a picture! Over 100 degrees would be just as miserable as our 15 below zero!

  16. Marsha Ransom

Got this! And the one you did right before giving up and going to bed.

Sorry you’re having so many difficulties! I miss your posts!

  17. Caryn Goulden

Couldn’t access this post last night, but could this morning. Pictures look good. Seven ads closed.
Order for Frank is on the way.

  18. Liz Schrader

I got both posts and photos came thru fine. Closed 6 ads. It was 103 degrees here today. I had to get out this morning but thank goodness for A.C.. Finished #8 and working on wall hanging for #3.
Mary, hang in there with your computer. I know they can give me a headache when not working right!

Very strange. When I look at this post with Safari on my Mac, the photos are sideways. But when I look at it with Safari on my iPad, they’re just fine.
