No News Is Good News 1-8-2020

I’ve been busy and stressed which I’ll tell about later. Surgery tomorrow.

Wanted to let you know that Connie is doing great – has gotten rid of her crutches and removed her big bandage so she can shower. Wish I could look forward to a quick turnaround but I know better – so I’ll just say “thanks for all the good wishes”. I’ll post again very soon.

Mary I think tomorrow is the day for your other knee surgery. I pray all goes well & you bounce back quickly. I know when you’re feeling up to it you’ll post again. I’m sure your farm yard friends will miss you daily visits.

Sending you all sorts of healing energy and prayers for quick and complete healing. You will have had two major surgeries pretty close together–be gentle with yourself and give yourself time to heal. I think you’re doing this at the best of all times so you can be healed up in time for the beautiful weather of an Iowa spring!

I picked up quilts this afternoon so need to get busy binding! I stitched up a cute backing last night and dropped that quilt off when I picked up these three. We will all be quite warm!

Take gentle care, Mary! Glad Connie is doing so well! You will be, too!

Did you have to get meals fixed for Rick to eat while you are in the hospital? And when you come home? Don’t worry about him. He’ll figure out something.
Tomorrow it will be over, finally. I have a feeling that you know what to expect and it will go better. Get better quick. Betty
