Opposition

Measuring only 30″ x 30″, the Opposition quilt will fit most anywhere and that lovely sour green is what this quilt is all about.  This quilt and the previous 2 quilt posts can be found in Country Threads’ new book “Civil War Remembered”.  Happy Sunday to all of you!  My team, the Iowa State Cyclones, won the Big 12 Championship last night in true come-from-behind fashion that we’ve come to expect from them.  I’ll bet they’re still celebrating in Kansas City!  Congratulations to Coach Hoiberg and the Iowa State Cyclones!!  It was such a fun 3 days of games.

I was watching the game and pulling for the Cyclones. Very exciting game. That’s a beautiful little quilt. Love the “sour green”.

Another beauty and two sizes of half square triangles. I’m a fan of Jelly Belly candy and the sour green color “ain’t” bad! Lots of wonderful “eye candy” in CIVIL WAR REMEMBERED.

I like that you floated the stars in the outer border! I have recently learned that it is not only more dynamic, in my opinion, but also saves you a lot if headaches! Lovely!

My Cyclones too. I’m so happy for them. I want one of the shirts that says, “I may live in Tennessee but I graduated from Iowa State.”

This is a lovely quilt! I just got one of your earlier books of Civil War quilts, and I cherish it. I also have several other books of yours, and numerous patterns too. Please enjoy the respite from the store, but remember all of us fans who love your publications! I will have to rush out and get the latest!
