Pam update

It is Saturday afternoon and Pam finally came upstairs! She is rubbing her face against my hand —-the injured side of her face must itch. It is looking so much better, no swelling or drainage so I am hoping all signs point to recovery. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your concerns about a cat you don’t even know! It is wonderful to have email friends.
Rick got home about noon. Sure enough the tv would not work! I’d like to call the geek squad agent and say, “Why do you even want this job if it’s too much for you?”. Rick has always contended we need a different antenna dish and sure enough, we do!
Here’s a little info on winter and holiday hours. Starting November 1, the shop is closed on Mondays and we will be closed the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving.
At Christmas we will be closed December 24 and 25 and December 31 and January 1 for New Year’s. Be sure to get these dates on your calendar!
We will also move the $5 quilt day to the Saturday prior to Thaksgiving, November 23.
Pam says thanks for your friendship and concern.

Love your daily news. Keep up the good work. Being an animal lover too, I always love hearing about your four legged family. We have 2 dogs, and 2 cats, one of the cats being 16 yrs. old, and I treasure every day with him.

I am so happy for you and for Pam that she is on her way to good health and feeling better. I was adopted by two precious Shelties several years ago, whom I no longer have. I understand how upsetting it can be when our four-legged family members are not well.

Jody-just finished reading your blog and found out about Gizzy. I am so sorry-it sounds like you’ve had a rough year, too, like me. Did you lose Sally, too? It’s never easy to lose them but that pain is offset for me by the joy they bring me during their life. I simply cannot imagine being dog less.

I told you she’d come around and love you again:) So glad to hear she’s doing so much better. Us animal people know what you’re going thru……I have a 13 1/2 year old Dalmatian who is nearly blind, partly deaf and her back legs are bad. I know her days are numbered but for now she’s still enjoying life and we enjoy every extra time she has…..Hugs to you and to Pam!
Love your updates and your animal stories.

So glad that Pam is better! What a pretty face she has. If only they could tell us where it hurts and what’s the matter so we could make their hurts and pains all better so much faster.
