This quilt was almost unbelievable- each block was made on its own and then attached to the quilt base. It was perfection!
I have more pictures but WordPress is presenting more challenges tonight. I’m so sorry – I just don’t know how to fix it.

I do believe that is the quilt that took top honors in Houston 2019. It is unreal. The back is quilted completely different from the front.
I’m so glad you got some great pictures of it and I can relive my trip.
We will be patient while you work on word press.
An amazing quilt. Could not read the maker’s name!
That quilt is stunning. I do believe it is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Thank you for posting it, Mary. I hope your troubles with Word Press dissolve very soon. I know it must be so frustrating.
Janet Stone is the maker. She has made a series of quilts incorporating the alphabet and has won many awards. They are phenomenal! Thanks for sharing, Mary!
Vicki in Seattle – oh, thank you for that info! It is an unbelievable quilt for sure!
That quilt! It is stunning. I’m mad at word press cause I wanna see more quilts!
Wow is all I can say and that doesn’t seem enough. They maker is beyond gifted. Such a talent. In the story of the quilt did it happen to say how long it took to create, was it her design? I just love to read those snippets on the description sheet. 😆
Truly is an amazing quilt! I’m sure I am not the only one who is impressed with your computer skills. You do a great job and we all appreciate any pictures you send. Thank you so much. I often think the computer nerds change things on purpose. A lot of things they change do not correct or improve anything. It just changes it so that it’s confusing to us! That’s my belief…haha
Beautiful quilt. Thank you for sharing.
Computer glitches are awful. My zoom only doesn’t work when I am on with my guild. Ugh!!
Take care.
Absolutely stunning quilt with excellent workmanship! I waited until I could open it on my computer and see even more details. I cab only imagine how stunning it was to see it in person. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I searched the internet for more info on that quilt. It indeed won best of show at Houston 2019. Also to find out it was flannel and not wool just blew my mind , A talented lady.
Awesome quilt, Mary. I have a friend who won’t go to a quilt show because she says she can never make quilts like those. I can’t make quilts like the winners, but I love to see them and look them over. They are inspirational. Thank you for sharing with us whenever WordPress allows😃. This one has Millie and Squeak in it, too!
Diane and Squeak – your friend’s attitude toward quilt shows would never enter my mind!
I agree. And, I think it is a sad way to think because she has missed so many beautiful works of art. If we all thought that way, we’d never see a beautiful painting or weaving or ceramic piece etc etc.
But, I enjoy all of those things!!
Take care:)
