Got the porch decorated for Flag Day and Fourth of July.
And the table of course! Antique American flags!
We got married 21 years ago on Flag Day – here’s the quilt called Wedding Day which I hang outside my door every year. It’s getting faded and worn – just like me. Ha!
Now I’m as ready as I can be for Rose’s visit – still much more could be done but I’m heading to the porch to rest before she gets here. This chair is calling my name!
Happy Anniversary! Love your flag decor – I love red, white and blue! That chair looks so inviting, don’t blame you for wanting to take a break! Maybe a little nap? That would be nice.
Looks so cute!!!!!
Looks great as usual. And feels even better having it all done for the summer!
Oh my! That looks just awesome. I love everything about it.
“Faded and worn…just like me”…that would
sum me up just fine…❤️
You did a great job decorating. I love all of it! Always love your blog too,and I appreciate all the work you put into it. I soooo miss your shop,so cozy,so much too see.I shopped there for many years- thanks to you and Connie for a job well done! Grab a beer and relax😎 Susie L.
Susie – a beer sounds great! And it’s only 2:48 — haha!
I love your porch and that you decorate it for flag day/your anniversary and 4th of july. Its very inviting. One observation I have is that I don’t see your ad’s until I click on “comment”. I’m not sure if others have this experience too. I will pay more attention the next time you send a post. Of course I click on the ad’s. 😉
Janet – I’ve heard you have to go to our homepage and not just the email.
Mary, my parents anniversary is June 14th as well. This year would have been 71 years. 😊 that you guys share the same day just seems “right” .
Happy anniversary!! 💖
Jan – wow, it would have been 50 years on the year we got married! Flag Day is a great day to get married! Thanks!
Looks fabulous!!! You have such a knack for putting things together…..
You certainly deserve a cup of tea and a good book and a nice rest in that chair. It looks festive and so inviting. Enjoy your friends
It looks so inviting and beautiful!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I went to the home page and there was nothing there but faded out blog entries. I haven’t seen any ads. Love your patriotic decorations.
Something about decorating with red white and blue that seems so happy this time of year. I think it’s great some people decorate their homes entirely year round with Americana look. To celebrate an anniversary on Flag Day brings even happier thoughts! Enjoy your visit and thanks for sharing your porch for all of us to relax with.
Love your porch so very warm and welcoming looking .great job love your emails thanks
Very sweet Mary all your patriotic decorations and Happy Anniversary early. I’m working on a small flag wall hanging I want up by June 15….better get busy.
I meant June 14th. My first niece was born on June 14 but she passed in 1999 at only 42 years.
LOve the quilts. Uncle same way too cute
Red, white and blue my favorite for summer decor! Happy anniversary.
Your patriotic decorations are delightful, especially the guy on the bicycle. Having been born and raised in the original 13 states, the patriotic theme traces my roots to the 1620s in the USA. Love it!
Hope you enjoyed that beer and maybe working in another!
Love the porch and decorations. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere so have a beer!! Is the Uncle Sam on the bike from one of your books? He is very cute. I get the ads when I read the blog on my computer, but not my iPad. That’s odd, but I do click on them😃
I remember the day you got married! I just love red, white and blue.
Happy Anniversary June 14

Love your decor, thanks for sharing. Your porch looks like the perfect place to relax with a book, some hand sewing, or just snoozing. You reminded me I have a kit in the basement I wanted to sew for the fourth. Guess I’ll have to get down there and find it!
Your home seems so welcoming! It must be a treat for anyone who visits you. I looooove that Circling Swallows quilt on the table. That block has always mesmerized me.
The porch is just awesome. Very nice. Thanks for sharing and happy June 14th.
Your porch looks so cozy – who wouldn’t want to sit out there all day!! How amazing that you decorate for every holiday – you continue to be amazing! Congratulations on your 21 year anniversary, have a lovely one!
So pretty, wish I could sit there with you!
Mary, I think all of your readers are mentally sitting on your lovely ❤️ porch with you! Have a wonderful visit with your company.

Love all the quilts! Especially the circling swallows and the small one with bicycle. Happy anniversary! And hope you and Rose had a great time catching up!
Happy Anniversary ! …. Love your decorated porch. Have a wonderful weekend.
Everything looks so nice and festive! Happy Anniversary a little early!!!!!
Connie – was it Ann Conroy who died? How sad – I’m so sorry!
Rick and Mary, Congratulations on your anniversary on June 14th! A perfect day to celebrate with red, white and blue and an anniversary too!! Our anniversary is also on the 14th, 50 years!! I thought that was only for old people, ha!
I miss your quilt shop, but totally understand why you closed. I love to read all of your emails, they make me smile and laugh, and wonder how on earth you get so much done each day, you make me very tired, i am 67 and you spin circles around me!
Celebrate this week!! hope Rick is improving everyday!
I love all your holiday decorations, especially the quilt on the couch. Is that in any of your books? I have several and will look.
Also really enjoy the wedding quilt!
Carol – too long ago -don’t recall which quilt you’re referring to
