Now you’ll have the recipe for next weekend’s brunch, if you need it. I’ve been too busy to even cut my rhubarb but this is very tempting to try.
It’s gotten sorta cool here this weekend – tonite when I was working outside I had to wear my jeans. My porch door is even closed – too cool and too breezy.
I’m still reading The Outsider – it’s very good but now I’m ready for it to end. So often I think books tend to drag on. I guess I’m easily bored. Went to the movie “The Book Club” this afternoon – guess I wouldn’t give it much of a rating –just my personal opinion.
Connie has another finished quilt which I’ll show you tomorrow along with the book it came from.
Oh my. . . Gotta’ try these. They look mighty good. Can’t say the same for the coffee tho’!!! . . Looks too strong for me!! 😂😝
Thanks for sharing the muffin recipe! Can’t wait to give it a try!
Thanks for the recipe, it sounds very good!
It is cool here too, ( Montana, mountains west of Helena) we had rain over night, not quite 1/2″, and rain and SNOW mix this afternoon!! My windows are closed too and a down jacket!! I have covered my flowers in fear it will freeze tonight! We had 83 yesterday!
Have a great week keeping busy!!
Those look delicious. Thanks for sharing the recipe. It’s been much hotter in Central Ohio than normal. I’d love to see it go back to the 70’s. My friends and I thought The Book Club was hysterical. Maybe we’re just weird!! Thanks for sharing all of the info from the farm, Reed and family, and Connie’s quilts. Fun to see.
Did you get some of the rain Mason City did? I feel sorry for all the soaked basements.
Betty – no, we escaped that rain! Please give me your mailing address.
Thanks for the muffin recipe. It looks yummy! I need to make a batch to share with my friend who shares her rhubarb with me.
I love reading your emails.
I will make them tomorrow. The rhubarb needs to be cut anyhow. Hope it doesn’t rain though. We had 12″ since 5-1. The roof is coming soon we don’t need another hail storm. Keep dry.
Sounds like a keeper. Please thank Connie for sharing. You guys are the BEST.
Thanks for sharing the rhubarb recipe I love everything rhubarb.
Yum
I love anything rhubarb! Thank you for sharing.
Bart and I ate making these now.look so good!!
Love rhubarb!
Wondering how far along are you in The Outsider? Hopefully you don’t have too many more pages to go before the finish. I put my name on my library’s list to read it. I’ll keep you posted if I like it too! Ha!
It’s a shame about The Book Club. It looks like the kind of movie (to me) that the previews are showing all the highlights. Hate when that happens.
Thanks for the muffin recipe. My mother enjoys rhubarb so I’ll try it out when she returns from visiting my brother.
Sue H – wish I had more time to read but usually only before I go to bed and so often I fall asleep while reading. I probably have 100 pages left.
Thanks for the recipe. They are baking right now. Can’t wait to try them.
Eleanor
Felt the same way about the Book Club. It seemed as though I had seen the best parts over and over in the TV ads. Connie’s muffins look good, and I don’t even like rhubarb.
Linda – the movie was so predictable – I guess that’s why I didn’t like it!
will have to try these…. I love anything rhubarb !
I made these muffins for breakfast and the recipe is now in my collection! They are wonderful! Barbara-Six Bags from Seattle
I really need to make these after reading all the great reviews.
Wish I had some of the energy that you and Connie have. Thanks for sharing.
Delicious! Made these yesterday for today’s breakfast. Oh.So.Good!!!!
