We had a great time yesterday. First we visited Reed and met Alta, Edna and Eunice.
Then we brought Reed back to play music with Becky and Bill.
Bill brought along a “strum stick” so Reed could play along. I wish you could have heard these three play If I Had A Hammer – it was great!
Rose brings treats for absolutely everyone – including cheese balls for Emma.
We played with fabric in the quilt shop and met again this morning for breakfast at their hotel. Today they were traveling to Lincoln, NE to the International Quilt Museum. Connie and I loved our visit last summer.
So we caught up on family news, quilting news and played endlessly with Hazel. It was a great visit!
Jealous! You still have fabric in shop? I thought you were turning it into dog boarding facility.
Karen – it can hold both!
So glad that you had a great visit and have some play time, too!
Thanks for the lovely visit; I sure enjoyed finally meeting Reed. Too bad we didn’t take a photo of my pink shirt–the Country Threads 30 year Anniversary shirt. Can’t wait to see you and the gang again.
Rose – tell me about the museum today!
Oh! Mary, I’m so glad you had a fun day . You’ve need one for a long time.
That looks like a fun day, Mary. So glad you guys had such a good time!
Sounds like an awesome fun visit! You have been working hard…so glad you could enjoy a break! Wondering about the items you have hanging on the wall by your piano….some kind of metal grates? Whatever they are, love how they look in your room…and the quilt too!
Kim – they are lightweight wood music stand templates – got them at an auction in a misc. box over 40 years ago!
