Well, I stayed up very late to watch Iowa State but they lost to the better team, Ohio State. I’ve always loved these games because you just cannot predict the winners and it’s those higher seeds that can surprise everybody.
It does not diminish my interest in these games – I love them all! I cleaned and even washed some windows this morning but now I’m ready to quit cleaning and start putting stuff away in the quilt shop. Our weather went from just crappy to such nice days, it’s hard to believe. It’s like someone turned the key and winter was over. A year ago today we got 17″ of snow but today is 53, sunny and not much wind.
Just a review of available patterns:

The parade of Harveys has been very fun for us – thanks to all of you who made a Harvey and sent a picture.
A quick note about cutting the scraps. I have a huge collection of fabric and can always find something on the shelf to use for a bigger square or an appliqué piece. But I do understand that some of you prefer to keep the scraps as they are. Whatever floats your boat! I know Bonnie Hunter is going to be at the Minnesota Quilt Show in Rochester this summer – I think Reed and I should go look at the quilts. Anybody else going? We could all meet up for lunch or a cup of coffee! We have a wedding on the 14th – really, a Friday? It’s Rick’s friends so he’d better clarify that date.
Not much that’s new – just a regular Saturday. How about you?
