Slow Thursday

Our days are spent working a bit outside, sewing a little, napping, doing chores and reading.  What a sweet life!

Hazel wanted to help.  I love this little dog!

Unless I missed that you’ve already posted this…. how did you choose the name Hazel? We had a dog that looked exactly like Hazel. She was the runt of the litter, the last puppy to be adopted and we took her. My husband named her Killer! She lived up to her name…. tiny but fearless! She was the best dog and companion. So glad you’ve found a pal like Hazel!

Marylou – Hazel was my mom’s name and Faye who died last May was Rick’s mom’s name. We knew when Faye died that our next dog would be Hazel. Mom would protest because she wasn’t the animal lover that I am but she would secretly be pleased!

Mary, aren’t you happy you decided to adopt Hazel? She is sooooo cute!
She is the background on my computer so I can enjoy her little face every time I sit down here.
    Enjoy this day, albeit windy!

Hazel is just a little “cutie pitutti” I tried to rhyme but not sure I succeeded. 😊🐶😊

Slow Thursday sounds like a good Thursday to me! Not surprised that you love little Hazel, she looks like a sweetie!

She is adorable. They just worm their way into your heart – don’t they? They deserve to be loved and spoiled. After all, they are so loyal to their humans.

I think my first attempt to comment failed?
I love seeing and hearing about your adorable baby, Hazel. Funny to see the Cuties bag over her head. LOL

I know you didn’t intend to do this, but note the “cuties” behind her! 🙂 How appropriate! She’s definitely a cutie!

you should think about writing a children’s book, “the adventures of Hazel” I could see a best selling series. Of course it would involve quilts and chickens and goats,….

Hi Mary, I enjoy seein g pictures of baby Hazel, she seems so busy! I am glad that she is a helper and you are putting her in lots of situations with other animals and people. Socializing then is so important, also teaching them to play. My little Zena doesn’t know how to play since she lived in a puppy mill, she was just a little baby maker. She really has a different life now and lots of love.

Beautiful day today. Enjoy it, Felicia

Felicia – your little Zena got lucky when she got to your house and out of that puppy mill. Thank you for giving her another chance!

My brother has a rescue that could be Hazel’s sister. She is about 6 months old and is a busy dog – new tricks every day! I’ve tried to attach a pic, but evidently an attachment is not allowed.

LOL! Hazel must be helping me iron my husband’s favorite shirt … I’ve ironed that thing so many times I’d recognize it anywhere! That’s too funny! Thanks, Hazel … you’re the cutest!

Candy – you’re kidding! It’s a shirt I bought at the thrift store – ha!

What a cute baby. I have two cute morkie poos. Daphnie and Shaggy, they are brother and sister and they are 7 years old. Don’t know what I would do without them. They bring me so much joy, as I am sure Hazel does for you. Such a cutie!
