None of these photos are attractive – that’s what spring is like here at rural Garner, Iowa. It rained lightly all day, soaking into the ground and melting the piles of snow . It didn’t rain hard enough to wash away all the winter dirt on the house but we’re making progress. I think this patch of grass even looks kinda green, don’t you think? Or is it just wishful thinking on my part?

At least you can see grass….we still have grass covered with dirty, snow-ice. We have a long ways to go! Sherry

I live in central Illinois, and our grass is as brown as November. Yours is green!

Our horses think spring is here they are grazing already even though the grass is still brown.

Lucky you! We got 5 more inches of snow and ice today here in Central Minnesota. Will Spring ever show it’s face? Can hardly wait to see a robin.

Looking forward to this site in Minneapolis-St. Paul–we got more snow yesterday–it was wet and slushy, nice and slick this am!

I think many of us are dreaming of Spring ~ especially after this tough winter! Last night, while it was snowing, it felt like we were in a snow globe and some jerk kept shaking it!

Just happy that I was close to Minneapolis, as 50-80 miles further west they received 4 to 6 inches.
