The name of this quilt is Stamped and it appeared in Issue 5, May/June 2013 of Quilty. When we received this contemporary fabric from Japan called echino designed by Etsuko Furuya, I knew exactly how I wanted to use it. As you can see the fabric is assorted prints across the width of the fabric making it a perfect choice when cutting strips used in this quilt. I used a gray chambray to bring it all together and quilted it myself on my Bernina in unevenly spaced “straight” lines. I’m getting much better at machine quilting, don’t you think? This is a contemporary quilt but when I laid it on my dining room table, it looked great with my white walls and antiques.
Stamped measures 48″ x 48″. The kit sells for $62.95 which includes the Quilty magazine. Magazine can be purchased separately for $5.99. Actual shipping amount will be charged.
Please call the shop if you’re interested in this kit. 641-923-3893.
We’re having another great spring day in North Iowa but quite windy. More ballgames to watch today – gotta go!

LOVELY table topper. Fabrics and the gray compliment each other beautifully; excellent choices.
NASCAR practice is on so I’m off to watch while I whip up crockpot beef rolls for an easy tonight’s meal.
