After yesterday I can see that holidays are a lot more fun when there’s a baby in attendance. We went to Becky’s house and I brought food to add to the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy that she fixed. Here are a few pictures – ha!
Eric and Nikki and Camber have spent the week with us – I’ve never had a baby stay in this house before but Camber has been easy. She is so happy and smiley – I think she cried only once all week!
Our life will return to normal next week and then we will start the Christmas Sew Along – with or without your book. I will give you complete directions. I am anxious to get back to my sewing machine.
I’ve got my book & ready to “start my engine”… I guess I have cutting to do first.
Camber is adorable! Such fun.
You have had a Blessed visit by this gorgeous baby & her parents.
That plaid dress with the black shoes is just top notch. Thanks for sharing.
What wonderful photos of your Thanksgiving gathering! Thank you for sharing. My book arrived and I’m excited to start the Split Square project. Just need to make the decision which fabric to use. I keep changing my mind. I might go way out on a limb and try some Kaffe Fassett fabric I have. Decisions. Decisions.
What a cute baby. LOve the dress and shoes!
Camber is a beauty…. now does she look like mom or dad??? You have some great photos of everybody!!!
Camer looks just like her Daddy!! What a sweet girl!! Happy Holidays!!
The joy that a baby brings is wonderful and amazing. I’m ready for next week also.Have my book and fabric.
Such a happy baby she is! And so cute! Just want to squish those cheeks!
I’m using a Moda charm pack “Black Tie Affair” with a cranberry colored strip – should look pretty classy! I must admit, I couldn’t hold back and did some sewing on it (BAD, BAD, BAD). I will stop and wait for the sew along now. Maybe I should cut another charm pack (I have bunches) or maybe a candy charm pack and make a smaller version! Hmmmm…. HUGS… and stitches
What a wonderful week you’ve had!! Everyone looked so happy to have little Camber around. Aren’t they the best? Her dress and shoes are precious. I will try to quilt along. Enjoy.
What wonderful pictures! It looks like everyone had a great time.
My book arrived Friday so I am ready. These sew alongs should motivate me. I will be gone next week, so will play catch up when I get home. I really like every quilt in the book.
You have a beautiful family!
I’m happy to read that your first experience with a baby in the house for the week went well. Camber appears to be good natured, easy going.
My book arrived today so I’ll get my fabric picked out tomorrow and be ready to sew along.
Such a cute baby. It’s such fun to have a baby share holidays. I received the book but now my priority will be getting ready for Christmas. Wish this was going to be after the holiday but will try to participate. It looks like fun.
Looks like beautiful and happy folks. You are blessed.
Camber looked so classy in the plaid dress! I missed my grandchildren this year, we had a quiet day.

Mary,
I love all these pics!! I don’t think Camber can take a bad picture. She was a true pleasure to have around, I could tell! REally cute pics of Eric and Camber and the one of Nikki and Camber! They are surely having a fun time with her — they don’t know how lucky they are!!
Becky – yes, they love playing with her, changing her clothes, laying in bed with her – just talking to her!
