I’m having a blast working on your Dashed Dreams from “Beyond the Battlefield”. Good for when I want to do mindless improv piecing!

I’m working on Floribundi, a free Bonnie Hunter pattern. For the yellows, I’m using cotton shirts that I’ve collected. For the print, I’m using florals, especially the big splashy 1980’s style! The sunny yellow and bright florals are so cheerful for me right now, and I’m using up some very old fabric.
I’m so glad you’re feeling better, Mary.

Oh, I love this improv quilt Mary! And Launa, you’re so lucky to get a surprise box of fabric from someone special! I’m still working on “Best of All” but got sidetracked with the holidays and dog sitting here. I can’t seem to stay on track! Jan in MA

Janice Hebert – give yourself a break! Work on something you really like – Best of All will be there when you’re excited about it again!

You’re right Mary, I’ll try a small quilt – that always makes me happy. I did get a makeshift design board of sorts hung on the wall today. I have the five blocks that I’ve finished on that. I like looking at them! Jan

I love improv quilts. I have plenty of scraps I could surely make several. I have a question for you. I have been clicking ads like crazy and wondered if that is still of benefit to your blog. I go back and read the new entries several times a day, and each time I click on the ads again. Sometimes there are a lot of them, other times just two or three. Really cold in southern Iowa today, but at least we didn’t get any of the snow. Sounds like next week may be warmer…..yay!!

Jeanine from Iowa – YES! Clicking those ads is extremely helpful to us! The expenses of keeping this blog up and running keep increasing and the ad money keeps us afloat! Thank you!

I love it😃. Is that all flannel? I think I will do that with flannel. I have a lot😹. Buddy is “ helping “ me. He likes my stylus. Sooo glad you feel better, Mary.
Freezing rain and 4 to 8 inches of snow coming tonight and tomorrow. We have food, a generator, and I have quilting to do. All good.

Just cold in Idaho. Glad you are feeling better. I love Hazel’s toy, she looks happy. I have a little rat terrier who keeps me busy with play toys. Stay warm
