I really like the straight line quilting! I think the “simple” has been overlooked for awhile, I’m going to try it next time

Strangely, I have a cat that looks exactly like yours and acts the same. Isn’t that amazing. 🙂

I have a “helper” that looks just like that…. I checked to see if she was still sleeping on my bed… lol….

Small world in fabrics as I’m using a Michael Miller yellow with smaller, different size white dots as binding for Harvey! Just got Harvey sandwiched and he is so adorable. Glad you inspired me to make him. We’re expecting 76 degrees here in Tulare this afternoon. Some trees are blossoming already! Hoping for the weather change by Friday with snow in the Sierras and much needed rain in the valley.

Good thing he is black. Anytime my cat picks black to lie on, I almost should throw it away! :). Also, wanted to tell you that Tessa and I made the cinnamon bread recipe you gave us. Fabulous!

Great to see Deano’s official quilt kitty portrait. This post also answers a question I had about the February 6 inch BOM block which has 48 pieces. Now I see where the small pieces come from–blocks made from charm squares. Good thing this winter weather makes for good sewing time. Please think easy blocks for the hot summer months. Thanks for the updates, you were missed during the past several days. Hope you’re feeling better.
