#4 is the number for March. Not many of us in the shop finished #1, hopefully this doesn’t become a trend. It’s great to see everyone getting their projects finished. If you need some inspiration, go to our Pinterest site and check out what has been finished.
This month we will be working on the following:
- Mandy: Scarecrown punchneedle
- Connie: My Garden Best
- Mary E.: Sunshine on My Shoulders – stars for Becky
- Dawn: Watermellon punchneedle
- Mary B.: cut all/remaining pieces for Mark & Shelby quilt
- Jan: make Port-a-Cath pillows
- Joan: cross stitch Jesus & children
- Lori: Stamp quilt
- Brandi: quilt Jacob’s Ladder
Could you talk about the port-a-cath pillows? That sounds like a great idea for some gift for a friend and for hospital donations.

#4 Hmmmm. This is a cross stitch I started when my daughter was married 20 years ago. May finally get it finished!
How do I access the 2014 free online sampler quilt patterns for Jan. – March? I’m new and have the April block.
Thank you.
Alice
As a side note I stumbled upon your shop many years ago as my husband, daughter and I were driving down the highway headed to participate/show in the draft horse competition. I helped unload and set up and headed right back to your shop. That was probably 1998. I bought a kit for a sunflower wall hanging that took me 10 years to complete. I considered myself a garment sewer – not a quilter. I’m coming around.
And I’m an animal lover – 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses and 14 – correction – as of this am – 13 chickens. Our most recent rescue, a 5 year old female lab, has to learn not to retrieve the live ones.
Don’t you love that draft horse show? I’m so glad you found us along the way! The free online sampler blocks can be accessed on our home page by clicking the tab at the top called “free block”.
