Having never moved snow with our tractor and loader, it was not a pretty sight. The ground was so wet and soft underneath that the loader dug up patches of ground even though I tried to be so careful.
I was close to having cleared the power gate when I took one last swipe – and I should have quit while I was ahead because I caught the gate with the loader and lifted it up on one end. Now the gate needs repairing because there’s a gap underneath. Oh, how I wish I had stopped before that happened.
We also had this trailer in our yard which belongs to the contractor who is going to put new siding on our barn. All the materials are under a snow bank and today he came and pulled his trailer out to go to another job. I’m so glad he isn’t going to try to wade thru the snow and mud to start this project.
Rick is getting therapy and the dogs love to visit – here’s Telly in bed with him.
We’re off to the care center now for a quick visit and to deliver some socks.
